（吉隆坡6日讯）GPA Holdings Bhd已停止子公司Kenola私人有限公司的个人护理产品交易和分销，以减轻对该集团的负面影响和损失。

GPA向大马交易所报备，该业务一直蒙亏，如果允许其继续经营，预计将继续亏损。

GPA说：“由于个人护理产品领域的市场竞争非常激烈，无论是在定价还是品牌选择方面，因此估计这个业务不会在近期内转亏为盈。”

“我们估计在2019财年（截至今年3月31日）与终止业务有关的特殊项目约135万令吉。”

根据该集团的2018年年度报告，Kenola涉及化妆品和护肤品零售业务。

GPA预计，2019财年盈利将受到减值损失和紧缩成本的影响。不过，预计其2020财年的整体营运业绩将有所改善。

闭市时，GPA持平于8.5仙，市值为8334万令吉。
