The subwoofer definitely adds something that is missing from your usual set of speakers, and if you are the kind of person who likes his action movie, you are in for a treat. It's expensive, but the Edifier S730 2.1 speaker system delivers with a booming sound that lends itself well to gaming. I've messed with plenty of sub $100 2.1 systems but they mostly fizzle out after a year or aren't nearly as impressive when it comes to the subwoofer's prowess, so I'm pretty happy with this system. As always, it's up to you to decide on picking up something at such a premium, so check out plenty of similar speaker reviews before you make your choice!
The Edifier S2000 Pro bookshelf speakers are priced at just $399 at press time and I have no doubt they are among the best speakers at the price. They do not only look good with a classic design but also sound amazing. We at TechWalls highly recommend the product.
These speakers deliver full, loud sound and look good doing it. They're built well, they have a beautiful black finish, and they come with a two-year warranty to back up your purchase. Some might feel a bit more bass is needed, but for that, there's a subwoofer output waiting to be used.
All I have to say is I am impressed. The Edifier S1000DB produces bright and energetic sound for those who are not expecting perfectly flat studio monitor response, and they are powerful enough to cleanly fill a medium-sized room.
Truly, the only complaint I have with this speaker system is the price. They sound glorious, but that comes at a steep price. They retail for almost $500 at the time of this writing. Still, a true audiophile will quite likely be happy with the sound quality, overall.
THE EDIFIER RT1280T has gone about as far as one can go with a hundred dollar set of speakers, and I think they have exceeded the price point in quality and styling.
