We had dancer auditions today.
We’ve just finished.
There are some new members coming into the troupe.
There are also some members who are graduating.
It wasn’t strange who had passed today’s auditions. I mean, everyone passed without any problems. Every dancer was just really really awesome.
During the last judging, when everyone did a solo performance one by one, I couldn’t stop my tears.
Seriously, no matter what happens, humans still manage to shine.
That is, without question, the moving of someone’s heart.
Yes, the moving of feelings.
That is what we called being “touched”.
To all my dancers, I will forever feel respect and love for you, from the bottom of my heart…
I am proud of you.

Decided to graduate for some members.
That’s all I can say for now.

I seem to have confused everyone and caused lots of worry, so I’m here again to clarify the situation.
Today’s auditions was a dancer audition with regards to this year’s tour, where we chose the main music themes and dance genres.
It’s not auditions for a-nation or CDL, or any of the other upcoming concerts.
In short, though you won’t be seeing some members this arena tour, it doesn’t mean that you won’t ever see them again.
Those members you met during a-nation, as well as those you didn’t meet, may appear in this tour again.
For CDL too, the members whom you saw during that performance may be in this tour also.
What I’m saying is, each concert has its own auditions.
And of course, as I’ve said before, there are also some members who have decided to graduate.
Those graduating dancers will not be taking part in any more auditions in the future, so that’s a real farewell.
However, they are still part of the troupe, in our hearts, forever, always.
But…
I feel that our dancers are really glad to be seen as so essential, and are so loved by everyone.
That is surely the proof that the dancers hold everyone in high regard, and with lots of thanks, that’s why they put up the best performances with all their might.
I just, just want to say thank you for that.

Every year, I would be working, and basically, each and every day just passes by unnoticed, so there were many times when this day just dawned on me unannounced.
Recently, we’ve begun work on the tour, and as usual, everyone gave me a surprise celebration on stage again.
I’m sorry for being surprised every single time. (laugh)
This year too, if our original schedule had run, our troupe would already be holding on to neverending dreams and starting the Love Hotel Tour. We’ll be embarking on a nationwide journey to see everyone’s smiles, and we would have been fully prepared to set off this weekend.
However, we are now in the midst of constructing a totally different show.
We are living in a reality where there is no way to go but forward, in these days when time does not stop for us.
To be honest, I feel like a mess, lost, anxious and in pain.
It must be like that for everyone too.
That’s how it is for me.
It’s my first time treading this path, and I’ve fallen so many times and been hurt.
Without knowing which way to go, I can’t move towards the place where I wish to be.
To reach that goal, I still require unimaginable amounts of time, power and energy.
However, I will go on. I can go on.
Because I’m not alone.
This is the 13th year which I am singing as Hamasaki Ayumi.
All these 13 years, I’ve received love from everyone.
So the power that resides in my heart is not to be taken lightly.
Does that mean that this is the love from everyone which has accumulated over 13 years?
Will I be able to fight through this year? Am I ready???????
I will surely become the light which links to the future, and shine my way to where everyone is– ☆

Sealed up in a beautiful brown envelope in such a polite way. I, too, opened it up as politely as I could.
A letter from my troupe.
The ones who wrote this letter, are those who will not be taking part in this tour.
However, the contents of the letter stated their prayers for this show’s success. And that they will continue to send us power.
It was a really really positive and moving piece of correspondence.
Cheerful in its simplicity, just one look at the contents tells of the hearts that wrote this letter.
But looking at it word by word, at how the pen ink flows, at the pressure of the pen on the paper, I can tell the true feelings and the time it took to write this. I know they must have rewritten it so many many times, and this is the product of all that work.
Because I know, my heart clenched.
Because I know, I can lift my head up.
Because I know, I will step out firmly today, on the road forward.
And I will continue to step out, because I know that, sometime in the future, the day will come when I will stand on stage with the authors of this letter once again.

There are some things which I need to do for work. Things which I demand a good reason for, to be fully persuaded.
Well, this doesn’t apply to my personal feelings.
But yeah.
It’s just my job.
I will do it well, as best as I can.
That’s what I’ve been doing for the past 14 years.
But,
no matter what,
even if it’s my job,
there are some things I can’t do.
I may be able to do them if I were, say, an emotionless robot.
However, I’m a human, with a heart.
Just like everyone else,
I was born in Japan,
I love Japan,
I wish for Japan’s future,
as any Japanese will.
I am facing that kind of problem now.
But because I understand, I will not give up.
I know what I should do now.
What I shouldn’t do now.
What I need to do, because I am who I am.
What example I need to set, because I am who I am.
Yes, everything is for,
HOPE for JAPAN！！！！！！！
