Buying in hopes of Wall St rebound STI's fourth consecutive rise is boosted by a firm European opening and a rise in the Dow's Sept futures contract By R SIVANITHY SENIOR CORRESPONDENT INVESTORS yesterday banked on Wall Street reopening with a bang after its closure on Monday for a public holiday and so pushed Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index up 2.1 per cent and the Straits Times Index up 16.96 points to 2,660.91. It was the STI's fourth consecutive rise, during which it has gained 90 points or 3.5 per cent. Also adding to confidence to buy was a firm opening for Europe and a 95-point rise in the September futures contract on the Dow Jones Industrial Average at 5pm. Genting Singapore continued to enjoy plenty of liquidity and interest by virtue of the emergence of a current casino theme that has prompted several brokers over the past week to issue 'buys' on the counter. JP Morgan was the latest broker to lend its name to this camp - in a Sept 7 report, it set a June 2010 price target of $1.20 for Genting based on a set of base case assumptions, or $2 if the bullish case assumptions are met. The $1.20 was calculated using a sum-of-parts where Genting's business is valued at 14x FY12 estimated EV/Ebitda (economic value/earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation), while Genting's UK operations and its marketing and IT-related services are valued at 10x FY12 estimated EV/Ebitda. Genting yesterday added 2 cents at $1.19 with some 202 million shares traded.

如果你不要買附加股,你的RIGHT可以賣出去的.

看来要赶快进场了，后天休息，直接去银行申请ibanking 才行。等了整个星期都没弄好这个ibanking 。

我看过一个人写过，如果right issue是拿来扩充业务是好事，如果是拿来还钱就是坏事。哈哈

讲你都不信，他们就是要来还债的！原来这次的股价飙得这么快这么高，是为了这个right issue!

既然right issue 是在$0.80, 那么如果这个云顶的股价越来越高，那么当right issue 出来的时候， 应该会赚很多钱， 为什么你们会看明天的云顶的股价会跌呢？
可以解释解释吗？

公司不够钱用，所以找股东拿钱！其中一个方法就是right issue,只要股价比right issue price 高，你就会觉得值得买，用八毛买块二钱的东西，当然有赚啦！除权日之后，股价就会跌会应有的水平！除权日之前，股价不会跌低过八毛，低过八毛你都不买啦！

那么过后每一股是0.80
那么我需要还的是0.80呢？还是0.80-0.40?

不然他们这么卖right issue ？

（新加坡9日讯）云顶新加坡宣布，以5配1的比例，发行高达20亿4371万6094股附加股，筹集16亿3000万新元（39亿9350万令吉）。

该公司发布文告指出，发售附加股的目的，是为了增强资产负债表、改善财务灵活性与竞争能力，以及用作未来的扩展计划。

1）改善财务灵活性与竞争能力-资金不够，做生意很难，绑手绑脚的！
2）增强资金实力-资金不够实力即是不够钱咯！
3)增强资产负债表-增强资产负债表就是不要让负债的数目太高咯！就是还钱的意思啦！

说要长期投资这公司的朋友，请查查看他们到底欠了多少钱，每年还多少的利息！

我不知道，这公司不是不好，只是现阶段还有许多不明朗的因素！
