2000年2月19日成立于文化起义、表艺结盟之日，附属于凭舞台咨询与服务。第一部作品“马尺”巡回吉隆坡、槟城、新山进行超过10场演出。队长：贺世平，队员包括：曾宏辉、陈丽玲、叶美玲、李彦琪等。贺世平－吉打双溪大年人，马来西亚艺术学院第一届毕业生，1991年赴台湾参加台湾艺术专科学院暑假戏剧研习班，曾任剧艺研究会执行秘书及戏剧主任、《凭舞台季刊》主编，现为多家学院讲师，同时兼任影视导演。贺世平于2005年获得中文戏炬奖办法卓越成就奖。

〖豆豆儿童剧团〗由纪俊佩创立於2001年1月1日，希望藉由儿童戏剧陪孩子渡过快乐而有意义的童年。同时也希望能够提供一个奉献和学习的舞台给愿意为儿童戏剧力的人们。本团的例行工作除了定期举办舞台剧公演 (大人演戏给小朋友看)及接受各单位邀演以外，也针对儿童，教师与一般社会大众的需求而开办儿童戏剧师资培训班、儿童戏剧生活营、创意儿童戏剧活动班以及有关讲座等等。

马来西亚是个多元种族的国家，语言、宗教和种族的差异一直都存在着。

艺术可以很地方化，也可以很全球化，艺术可以是东方的，也可以是西方的.

无论是地方的、全球的、东方的还是西方的，因为有差异性，才会有文   化和艺术交流的存在。

“平台”，即平面的舞台，同时也是一个没有墙瓦与界限的辽阔平原。这个舞台可以变得更透明、更平等，甚而可以加强各文化与领域间的关系，增进彼此间的交流与联系。

「平台計劃」成立于2005年，希望透过剧场表演、活动以及课程去建立一个更为成熟的、当代的、多元的，交流频密且开放的剧场平台。以这做为计划的基础，不断的去学习、探索、认识、发现以及开拓剧场艺术的新视野与合作空间。「平台計劃」的目标不在于同一或消除这些文化和艺术的差异，相反地，「平台計劃」希望藉由合作、交流、分享和相互学习去尊重和歌颂这些差异，以及珍惜我们所属社会与领域独有的特质。

自在音乐舞台工作室集合了一群热爱音乐剧的来西亚艺术人才，我们的宗旨是在马来西亚制作拥有国际水准的音乐舞台剧，藉此同时推广表演艺术以及为本地艺术工作者提供更多更大的表演空间，并且带领马来西亚制作迈向国际。
我们的第一部大型中文音乐剧《释迦牟尼佛传》在1999年在马来西亚空前首演，2000年移师新加坡公演，然后2002年在我国盛大重演以及到南非的三大城市包括约翰尼斯堡、德本以及开普顿的歌剧院演出，都深获好评。在3年20?的公演中，我们吸引了共5万5千名观众入场欣赏，各地观众们的热烈回响以及台前幕后伙伴的坚定信念，让我们对未来的制作与演出充了信心。2004年我们制作了第二部音乐剧《天心月圆》，并在马来西亚布特拉室内体育管以及新加坡滨海艺术中心剧院演出，同样得到观众的赞赏。

基本简介        ：

〖单单〗成立於1992年，成立初期称为〖单单工作坊〗， 创始团员有孙春美、扬国忠、吴国菘和唐翠芬。
取〖单单〗为名的构想过程非常偶然，完全不在设计之内，纯然是灵光乍现； 动机也很单纯，即取其发音简单，如婴儿初期发音的简洁，正是四个人成立剧团的单纯意念： 热爱戏剧，就从事戏剧！
1995年，藉著《三代》的戏缘以及筹办《第八届亚细亚单人剧祭》的机缘， 覃月蓉、罗国文和陈万兴加入〖单单〗。阵容的加壮，让我们对剧场的意志更坚 ，〖单单工作坊〗显然已不足表达我们的雄心壮志。 于是，1996年毅然正名为〖单单表演工程〗，坚决与“马来西亚表演艺术”， 这单庞大的工程签下义无反顾的契约。
这些年来，本着“前瞻性的制作， 本土化的呈现“ 为宗旨，为马来西亚观众制作及呈现了无数的演出， 更於1995年开始陆续受邀前往日本、韩国、印度等地演出。

The prime objectives of the Actors Studio's formation were:

Description:        The Instant Café Theatre Company (ICT) was formed in December 1998 in an attempt to provide a little alternative entertainment for the Malaysian public and ended up being a new and distinctive voice in contemporary Malaysian writing and theatre. They instantly garnered a following with their wickedly funny satirical revues which lampooned everything from Malaysian social mores to political skullduggery.
Since 1989 it has been home and/or breeding gound for a generation of Malaysian comedians who honed their talents in the framework of political revue shows. Today the company cromprises actors, musicians, directors and writers who together form a performing ensemble where the staple diet has been ICT’s intimitable brand of biting social and political satire.

To date the Company has performed hundred of revue shows for the Malaysain public and private/corporate functions in most of the major cities in Malaysia including Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru and so forth.

Apart from comedy revues, ICT has since inception also staged a number of mainstream theatrical productions. In 1994, Instant Café created Dramalab, an arm of the company specifically dedicated to encouraging new writing. This subsequently became and independent company.

A year later, ICT organized an open air arts festival Out In The Open in the grounds of Carcosa Seri Negara which comprised a full month of performance events.

1996 saw the ICT opening its own space – Instant Café’s Theatre Upstairs – but despite being a highly popular comedy and theatre venue, it was forced to close down at the end of 1997 due to financial reasons.

ICT continues to perform in a variety of venues and can be found performing or playing a key role in most events which has a strong human rights agenda.
