+more than or almost equal,就是说大过-0.5的数目? |

应该小过涅。。-0.5 < -0.49

有什么号码是almost more than-0.5?答案就是-0.49,-0.48,..

Let h(x)=0, x(x+1)(x+3)=0
roots: x=-3,-1,0
然后domain和range看图后会找吧

(d)也是cubic function,就用一样的方法找咯

内个~关于那边roots:-3,-1,0 <------这里!我不明白怎么回事,可以解释解释吗?

首先你要明白root是什么意思(这里definition不多说,课本应该有。。再不会google下就有)
简单来说就是curve intersect with x-axis的point
h(x)=x(x+1)(x+3)
当x=0, h(0)=0
x=-1, h(-1)=0
x=-3, h(-3)=0

求解,
the domain of a function h, where h:x→2^x, is R
问题是find the range of the function h
答案说range是R+,意思是不是说这个function的range都是大过零的real number?? |

本人又来问问题了 是这样的:sketch the graph of y=f(x)=x^3 and use thie graph to sketch the graph of.......
就是6(a)那题。。。

问题是find the range of the function h
对,+是positive,也就是大过0
h(x)=2^x
这是exponential function, 所以h(x) is strictly positive for all x. i.e h(x)>0 x∈ℝ

还有一题是let X = {1,2,3,4}. show whether each of the following relations, which define the set of ordered pairs, represent a function from X to X.
b) g: {(3,1),(4,2),(1,1)}
据我所知,function必须是onetoone,manytoone,以及全部domain都被连接才算是function。那为什么答案说b那题是function呢? |
