印尼建新海军基地，遥望新加坡。

印尼廖内群岛省的新海军基地已动工建造，将在明年初竣工。
新海军基地位于Batam岛南部的Setokok岛，有射击靶场和直升机停机坪等设施。
基地可容纳600名海军陆战队，印尼海军第10步兵营将部署于此。
印尼廖内群岛（Riau Islands）与新加坡，马来西亚相邻，印尼通过此基地将形成对马新的威慑。
印尼海军在继续扩编中，现有两支舰队，在东爪哇的第一舰队，在雅加达南部的第二舰队，正在筹划在西巴布亚建设第三舰队。

The Navy on Wednesday began construction on a Marine Corps base on Setokok Island, some 4-kilometers southeast of Batam Island in Riau Islands province.

The base will house the corps’ 10th Infantry Battalion, whose duties include strengthening border security.

Navy chief of staff Adm. Marsetio said that the deployment of a Marine battalion was a direct instruction from President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to strengthen security of forefront islands and the border.

“Strategically, Indonesia is the world’s largest archipelagic country so it is necessary to build an ideal battalion,” said Marsetio at the ground breaking ceremony.

“The Riau Islands borders the South China Sea and other countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. There is a potential for border conflict in the future.”

Also in attendance at the ceremony were Riau Islands Governor Muhammad Sani and other officials.

In February 2014, all facilities at the base, such as a shooting range and helipad, will be completed.
A bridge already connects Setokok with Batam.

“The Marine battalion in Setokok will be the prototype of an ideal Marine battalion that is surrounded by sea,” said Marsetio, adding that it would house 600 marines and would be strengthened by small special units.

The establishment of the 10th Infantry Battalion is in line with the Navy’s plan to have a third fleet in addition to the current western and eastern fleets.

Marsetio said preparations had been made although no location had been named yet for the third fleet.

He added that the Navy was also preparing the 3rd Marines headquarters in Sorong, West Papua,
to strengthen the existing 1st and 2nd Marines located in Sidoarjo, East Java, and Cilandak, South Jakarta, respectively.

最大的可能，印尼仔是冲着港王级而来，这令人不安。

從谷歌地圖上測量，Setokok島和新加坡南部的直線距離約70～80公里，還在想新加坡的HIMARS不知道有什麼彈種可以達到這射程～後來一想，出動戰機不就行了嘛！

新加坡 HIMARS SS-80单弹头，射程是90公里（略微低过HIMARS GMRLS的92公里）。
美国的HIMARS M31单弹头射程是92公里，可是若换成子母弹头的M30，射程就只有70公里。

如果SS-80也用子母弹头，那么由于子母弹头需要从高空散开，射程就不可能达到90公里。




就拿新加坡自产的P-138子母弹头徘击炮为列子。
120MM徘击炮普通射程是10公里，可是一旦改为P-138子母弹头，最远射程已经不是10公里，而是6.5公里，射程少了35％。
美国的HIMARS M31射程是92公里，M30子母弹头射程却只有70公里，射程少了25％。
如果Astro II的SS-80单弹头也用子母弹头，射程也可能下调25％，从90公里变成67.5公里。
HIMARS 跟 Astro II 最大的差别是一个是制导的，另一个。。。
