Teluk Bahang Dam -
The Teluk Bahang Dam is the largest dam on Penang Island. The Teluk Bahang Dam was completed in 1999. The dam has a height of 58.5 meters and a length of 685 meters.
Balik Pulau Town -
Balik Pulau is traditionally popular among the people of Penang as where penangites throng every durian season when the fruits are in abundance. Many swear that Balik Pulau durians are still the best anywhere in Malaysia. Balik Pulau has also built a reputation as a food haven for the locals and the hills surrounding Balik Pulau Town (also called Kongsi) are clove and nutmeg plantations, in addition to the durian estates and fruit orchards.

Snake Temple -
It was built in 1850 and famous as it was once a refuge for the venomous pit vipers that lived in the surrounding hills.To replace the missing snakes, they now have a snake farm you can visit, with over 50 different species on display and of course a chance to have your photo taken with them (for a price). Penang Bridge - Penang Bridge is a dual carriageway toll bridge connects George Town on the island of Penang and Seberang Prai on the mainland of Malaysia on the Malay Peninsula. It was officially opened to traffic on 14 September 1985. The total length of the bridge is 13.5 km (8.4 mi), making it the longest bridge in Malaysia as and the fourth-longest in Southeast Asia.
Penang War Muzium
The Penang War Museum (Muzium Perang Pulau Pinang) is located atop Bukit Batu Maung on the South-East of Penang island. Opened to the public in 2002, it was an original British military defence fortress built in the 1930s to protect the island from enemies in anticipation of World War 2.
Penang Aquarium
The Penang Aquarium is one of the tourist attractions in the fishing village of Batu Maung. Officially the Fisheries Department Research Institute Aquarium, this medium-size aquarium is located within the Fisheries Research Institute complex in Batu Maung, on the southeast tip of Penang Island.

Kek Lok Si Temple (Temple of supreme Bliss)–
The Kek Lok Si Temple is a Buddhist temple situated in Air Itam in Penang and is one of the best known temples on the island.. The statue is located on the hillside above the pagoda. The other is a huge bronze statue of the Goddess of Mercy, Kuan Yin -- a popular diety in Penang. The statue was newly completed in mid-2003 . (Admission fee RM4.00/pax)
Penang Hill (known Bukit Bendera)
Penang Hill (known Bukit Bendera)is located on this island of Penang,Air Itam. It is 6km from the city. Situated about 823 meters (2750 feet) above sea level on this northern part of Penang, this oldest hill resort and the first in Malaysia has cool with average temperature is between 20-27 degree celcius., unpolluted air and historical feature. Fort Cornwallis -
Fort Cornwallis is situated at the spot where Captain Francis Light was supposed to have landed in 1786. Today, much of the old fort remains, but its precincts have been converted into a public park and an open air theater. (Admission fee RM3.00/pax)
Penang Peranakan Mansion -
Peranakan', which means 'local-born', is another name for the colourful Straits Chinese or Baba Nyonyacommunity. The Straits Chinese had their heyday in the early twentieth century, to enjoy a lavish lifestyle.The womenfolk were popular for their graceful kebaya dress and rich Nyonya cuisine. Little India - along these streets, you will find shops selling everything Indian – from gorgeous silk, cotton and brocade saree materials to stainless steel tiffin carriers
Town Hall - The Town Hall, like the City Hall. In olden days, the elite used to gather on the balconies of the Municipal Council buildings to view the processions and games held below . The Penang Town Hall was even featured in the movie Anna and the King, the courtroom segment of which was filmed here in 1999.
Chew Clan Jetty-
On the Southeast of Penang Island, the Weld Quay is a water-bourne community consists of seven sets of wooden piers. This is unique only to Penang island, where the Penang Clan Jetties have been in existence overt a hundred years old. (Free Admission)
Reclining Buddha Temple –
Wat Chayamangkalaram is a Thai Temple which was built in 1845 on the land granded by Queen Victoria. The Temple has one of the largest Reclining Buddha in the world. The Statue is Gold plated and measuring 33 meters in length. (Free Admission)
Khoo Kongsi-
The Khoo Kongsi clan temple is one of the best examples of Chinese temple architecture and craftsmanship in Southeast Asia. It was built in 1906, the temple displays fine stone carving, wood carving, painting on wood and fresco painting. The Khoo Kongsi is a clan association of Khoos belonging to the Leong San Tong (Dragon Mountain Hall),Sin Kang village, in Hokkien (Fujian) province.
Botanical Garden -
The Penang Botanic Gardens, more popularly known as the "Waterfall Gardens", was established by the British way back in 1884 from an old quarry site. The beautiful grounds and the tranquility of the gardens have long been enjoyed and admired by millions of visitors. (Free Admission)
Victoria Clock Tower - The Victorian clock tower at the junction of Lebuh Light and Lebuh Pantai is sixty feet tall, one foot for each year of Victoria's reign, which was built to commemorate Queen Victoria's 1897 Jubilee- it was only completed in 1902 when she had passes away.
