I have compiled and make a comparison between these two lovablebikes that might gets into your garage soon. Some prefer the Belang andsome prefer the 5-speed of 135LC. DiASil Cylinder
Features of the technology
The DiASil Cylinder is an all-aluminum cylinder made possible by anexclusive Yamaha aluminum forging technology. Because it uses a 20%silicon aluminum alloy, it is possible to create a cylinder wall thatis so hard and durable that it eliminates the need for a conventionalsteel cylinder sleeve. DOHC vs SOHC
DOHC can provides better power but there is a lot more mechanical losscompare to SOHC since there is much more parts and weight to be movedby the crankshaft. The fewer parts of SOHC also provides lowermaintainance cost.

我呢。。。重要是小和top speed,但是125Z是160km/h 哇,LC clutch的是155KM/h,但没关系啦,相差5km/h 换了sportket就=160km/h 了。。

以前有骑125z,跑160km/h还是觉得不够快,试骑belang才跑120km/h就不敢再加速了

haha我好久没有上来这里聊了,自从motor卖掉之后,haizz。。。现在后悔了(因为油一直的飙升)所以又想要买会motor了。。

  • DiASil (die-cast aluminum cylinder) which has better heat conductance to dissipate excessive heat easily.
  • Lighter forged piston
  • Roller bearing rocker arms with less friction than typical rocker arms.
  • 4-valve water-cooled engine- The 4-valve engine configuration provides better volumetricefficiency compared with other 4-stroke moped models which uses 2-valveengine design, enabling the engine to produce higher torque at highrpm. However, the engine displacement of 135cc limits the ability ofair-cooling system while retaining the small kapchai design at the sametime, therefore water-cooling system which has better coolingefficiency is used.
  • Fuel injection (2008 Yamaha Spark 135i in Thailand only) for cleaner emission and better efficiency than the carbureted version.
  • Carburetor with throttle position sensor and accelerator pump(other countries) - The Y135LC uses Mikuni VM22 carburetor equippedwith throttle position sensor for more precise ignition timing,increasing the engine's efficiency, and also an accelerator pump forbetter acceleration and instant response during take-off.
  • Catalytic converter- Even though most 4-stroke kapchai models are capable to surpassstrict emission standards without even using the catalytic converters,Yamaha has taken an initiative to install a catalytic converter to theY135LC to surpass even stricter emission standards in the future.
  • Sport rims with tubeless tires (standard for Malaysian models only)
