Do vs Did... 请各位教教我...

神经有问题

我知道do 是 present tense; did 是past tense...
但当问人东西时...
什么时候用 Do you...? 什么时候又用 Did you...?
可以给我一些example吗?

如果你要问已成为过去的一件事情，就用 "Did":
Did you eat out last night?
Did you see the burglar?
How did you go to school this morning?
What did you do when you saw her?

如果你要还没成为过去，还会发生的事情，就用 "Do":
Do you play badminton?
How often do you visit your grandparents?
Do you like singing?
What do you do?
Where do you live?
