2008年10月6日，思特雅国际大学学院(思大)正式注册成为UCSI大学。对于一个在马来西亚提供优质高等教育超过20年的大专学府来说，被颁予大学资格是一个肯定和荣誉。

自1986年成立以来，UCSI大学是国内少数提供广泛学术课程的私立大学，其科系概括工程系(Engineering)，资讯工艺(Information Technology)，商科(Business)，应用科学(Applied Sciences)，药剂系(Pharmacy)，医学系(Medicine)，社会科学(Social Science)及音乐系(Music)等等。

UCSI大学现今提供自己本身的大学荣誉学士文凭(Honours Degrees)，学生们毕业后也能转到国外各所国际知名大学继续进修硕士课程。除此之外，UCSI大学的学士课程也让学生可选择转到外国大学完成。

如果科目是year3的科目就是long sem
year 1 & 2的科目就short sem
