We refer to our announcements dated 6 April 2009, 5 March 2009 and 20 January 2009 respectively on the Suit and announcement dated 4 December 2009 and amended announcement dated 18 June 2010 on the Proposed Settlement.
The Board of Directors of Hock Lok Siew Corporation Bhd. ("HLSCORP" or "the Company" wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary company, HLS Properties Sdn. Bhd. ("HLSPROP" had withdrawn their action and the defendant, Fabina Properties Sdn. Bhd. ("Fabina" had withdrawn its' counterclaim without liberty to file afresh and with no order as to costs. The terms and conditions to the Settlement Agreement were then amended and varied by a Supplemental Agreement to allow settlement by way of cash for the settlement of the Suit.

We refer to our announcements dated 19 July 2011 and 29 August 2011 respectively.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of Hock Lok Siew Corporation Bhd. ("HLSCORP" or "the Company", we wish to announce that Foremost Audio Sdn. Bhd. ("FASB", a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, had on 28 November 2011, served a writ of summons and statement of claim out of jurisdiction against Monitor Audio Limited ("Monitor" for an outstanding sum of USD1,109,209.91 still due and owing for goods sold and delivered, inventory of finished goods and material of USD520,725.90, labour retrenchment cost of USD475,927.01, machineries bought for production of USD229,866.99, legal fees of USD250,000.00, interest on judgement sum at the rate of 8% per annum from the date of filing of this action till full settlement and further or other relief that the Court deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.
The matter is fixed for Case Management on 12 December 2011.
