Real Madrid look set to tie up a mammoth ￡63million move for Colombia playmaker James Rodriguez.
The midfielder has reportedly agreed terms with the 10-time European champions over a move to the Santiago Bernabeu, according to Spanish daily AS.
They claim that the Monaco man - who joined the Principality club for ￡38million from Portuguese side Porto last summer - will move to the Spanish capital for ￡63million.

Frank de Boer is confident that Ajax can see off interest in Daley Blind, but admits that every player has a price.
The highly-rated defender, who can also operate in midfield, is said to be drawing admiring glances from across Europe - with Manchester United and Barcelona among the front-runners.
His performances in a successful World Cup campaign for the Netherlands have helped to enhance his growing reputation, and increase his value.
Ajax are aware that the transfer vultures are starting to circle and that their hand would be forced by a big-money approach.
De Boer is, however, refusing to accept that a move is inevitable and feels Ajax should be looking to build for the future around their talented youngsters.
When asked if Blind will be on the move this summer, De Boer told AT5: “Personally, I don’t think so.
“Everyone is obviously for sale, but we feel that those three players, the World Cup players (Blind, Jasper Cillessen and Joel Veltman), with a few guys in the current squad, should be the water carriers of this squad. |
