LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - 02/23/10) - Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSEVS - News) announced today it plans to open the first phase of its $5.5 billion Marina Bay Sands development on April 27, 2010. Arguably one of the world's most challenging construction projects and certainly the most expensive stand-alone integrated resort property ever built, Marina Bay Sands will immediately go to work by hosting its first event, the Inter-Pacific Bar Association's annual conference, just days after opening its doors.

"Nearly four years ago, we embarked on a journey we believed would define the future of our company and at the same time change the face of tourism in Singapore and the South Asian region for decades to come. Now, as we approach the opening of Marina Bay Sands -- one of the most remarkable leisure and business destinations ever created -- it seems both of those ambitions are about to come true," said Las Vegas Sands Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Sheldon G. Marina Bay Sands Chief Executive Officer Thomas Arasi said the property is planning for 963 hotel rooms, part of the shopping mall and convention center, celebrity chef restaurants along with other dining outlets and the casino to open on April 27 subject to construction proceeding as scheduled and being able to attain the necessary regulatory approvals.

The second phase, which includes the Sands SkyPark™, the Event Plaza along Marina Bay, more shops from the world's leading retailers, additional dining options, and exciting nightlife offerings, will open on June 23 as part of the property's grand opening celebration, Mr. Arasi said. In October, one of the property's two state-of-the-art theatres will welcome Disney's The Lion King. The second theatre, which will also open later this year, will be home to a variety of special events and famous headline acts. The iconic Marina Bay Sands museum, expected to open by December, will not only feature international blockbuster exhibitions, but it will also serve -- with its unique lotus-inspired design -- as a symbolic welcome to guests from around the globe.

今天舅舅载我从新山回到新加坡，我们都是赌鬼，不过他是VIP, 谈到新加坡赌场，他的朋友是带客的，上个礼拜带入一个中国官员，赢了200多万新币。新加坡毕竟还是洗黑钱天堂。不久又有一个德士司机朋友打给他报告又赢钱了。

我心想，赌场不怕你赢，只怕你不来。

好啦，心里痒痒，就约了一个中国朋友去。

去牛车水等他，由于是元宵节，所以封路了，人潮真多。本来想带3000去的，无奈atm只能吐2000每天。

搭地铁到harbourfront, 哇，真的不同，人潮不错。搭monorail到sentosa。

先去走走看看Festive walk,设计不错，有点像clarke quay,不过很多店没有开，光线也不足，人潮很少。便宜云顶了，新加坡应该不让云顶开赌，直到工程完毕。

下去赌场了，由于我是PR, 要还100大元。

里头两旁都是table, slot machine, 每张桌子都是满满的。找了很久，百家乐minimum bet都是SGD50的，没有$10.过去抽烟区去看看，哇，好像小马来西亚。再走进去，尽头还有一个area, 还没有开放。

我不吸烟，害怕臭烟味，还是回去大厅里。

这个云顶真的很吝啬，只提供免费茶水。没有面包，面类。下次不support它。

它的餐厅不错，中央有舞台，来来去去就是4条金色毛maxim doll跳舞大概10分钟，停了半小时后又来过。

还以为是不同节目，不间断的。云顶这方面很差。一味要赚钱，却不提供娱乐。

下$50,如果输就100,再输300，再输就900。

如果赢了就回到50。

其实很少机会碰到900，碰过两次，我都赢了。

大厅的百家乐全是B6。听说5%比较划算。

我不看蓝色，红色，不看银幕，只是一直下banker.

这个赌场以新马中赌徒居多。

赢了2600，然后才hut 它500一pu。。鸟它，被它吃掉。

好啦2100也不错，就去换钱。这个地方也很差，排长龙。而且只有$50.

出赌场的时候，看见还有一个area 是给PR，新加坡人，里头设计不错，分为吸烟，非吸烟区。

人少些，可以自己开牌，minimum bet $50, 百家乐5%，不是b6.

换1000试看，一度多赢500，最后运气不好，去到一pu 900，王八蛋又被咬。

ok,赌博就是要有limit,我认输，不继续。。。

开开心心带着之前赢的1100出去。一出门就有taxi 长龙，真好生意，长龙会动的，不想airport 那样。

taxi uncle 说这个赌场开了后确实带动他们的生意。

sentosa 不同genting highland有它们会scan 每张钞票，每粒chip.

很多荷官都会主动先用华语说话，相当多都会广东话。supervisor 和下属也很多用广东话。相信不少马来西亚职员和云顶派过来的。

感言：
如果有选择，赌徒会参观另外一间。
sentosa的设计确实比云顶好多多。不过内涵/内容不是很好。休息的椅子很少，没有电视让大家看足球，新闻。
也没有不间断的娱乐节目。

新加坡要的不是澳门那样的赌场，而是能带动旅游业的发展，有丰富的娱乐节目，带动各行各业的发展。

云顶集团给我一个感觉，只是为了赚钱，而不回馈赌客。以后金沙开幕后我不会去sentosa.

期待金沙带来竞争。
今天是礼拜天，我想象如果少掉50%的赌客，sentosa IR到底业绩会否亮丽？
如果金沙真的能让sentoa少掉50%赌客，我就不看好sentosa能取得很好的业绩。

我不懂新加坡背后洗黑钱的数目有多大。
不过以今天mass market 来看，我是看淡日后两家赌场的业绩。
除非靠洗黑钱和VIP.

星期五晚終於去咗新加坡聖淘沙名勝賭場，本來期望已經唔高，去到發現簡直係差。
(1) 唔想人入：坐單軌電車入到聖淘沙完全搵唔到路牌指示賭場點去，個入口又隱蔽到唔想俾人搵到咁
(2) 有枱唔開：好多賭枱都未開，如Craps, Poker等
(3) 開又唔夠：開得出黎既枱都多人到插針唔入，百家樂大細迫唔到入去，三公廿一點迫得入都話可以搭買，加勒比海富貴三公嗰啲就永遠等唔到位
(4) 注碼太高：多數枱最低投注額係50或者100坡紙，大約等於275同550港幣
(5) 設計差：存放行李要租locker，要俾錢已經算數，佢仲要離賭場入口遠，數目又有限(80個左右)，個電腦system更加係極度user unfriendly
(6) 管理差：厠所又濕又臭，入場兌錢都排晒長龍，出出入入都要check passport
(7) 服務差：有飲品供應，但要自己行去卙用紙杯飲，選擇只有水，茶，汽水，奶茶，咖啡同橙汁；有個別員工態度惡劣
(8) 訓練差：派牌慢，換碼慢，賠錢慢都不突止，見過Progressive Texas Hold'em有個荷唔記得賠率問Super，竟然連Super都記錯賠率
(9) 環境差：人多路窄，搞到比肩接踵人撞人，冷氣又唔夠，會間唔時聞到其他人汗臭味
總結：去開星洲可以睇下，當開眼界，以後去澳門會覺得更開心；但千祈唔好專登去試。
小弟就覺得現在去新加坡未系時候，應為名勝世界系雲頂個老細開既，距系馬來西亞D賭場同當年燊哥系澳門一樣甘PK，所以如果要去，當然系等金沙開左先去啦，點解艾德森先會比到驚喜大家啦！

星期一由于昨天的门票到今晚941pm就作废了。


另外新加坡其中一条赌船-龙届，今天停驶了。。。第一次看到赌场关门。

没有人去，他们当然顶不顺啦。成本那么大。

赌桌50%都是关着，所以令到桌子围了20多了，很难下注。
我非常的看淡新加坡未来两家赌场，到底能否取得足够的客源。

chip to cash exchange 也要排20-30分钟。
真烂。。。

今天赢了565。

其实云顶不是猪-不是第一次开赌场也不是没看过地球上的其他著名赌场-更不是第一次迎接各式赌客。。。这其中的POINT很耐人寻味--什么需要的和什么必须的。。。。老实说云顶大马的国际厅和VIP不是很像样【更地球上注明赌场比较】】--就不知道圣淘沙的VIP是什么样的。。。。澳门的赌场也不是间间的都高档的说--比黑市大排档好一点的也是有。。。澳门的荷官也不是很友善的说【那张脸有些还很像我欠他钱那样】
