Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is confident Daniel Agger will not target an Anfield exit following Barcelona's rejected bid for the defender.
The Dane's agent revealed on Wednesday the Catalan giants failed with a recent offer after submitting a ￡25 million bid for Chelsea centre-back David Luiz.

And with Luis Suarez making no secret of his desire to leave Liverpool, Rodgers does not expect similar behaviour from vice-captain Agger.

"Daniel has given me his word that he loves Liverpool and I will expect him to be here," Rodgers is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror.

"He had chances to leave, but told me as long as we wanted him here, then he wanted to stay.

"He's been brilliant, that is why we have given him the vice-captaincy. The one thing I got from him from the very first conversation is loyalty.

"That is why he signed a new contract and committed himself to the club, and why we gave him a new contract - because we want him to be part of our future.

"He is important to the way we play, and he has been central to the way we work since I came here, and he knows that. There have been a couple of inquiries, but we have made our position clear."

其实我也是很奇怪球会的操作...
有点混乱...
就是因为上场比赛让我觉得道宁不可能走..哪里知道今天拿铁锤衣服拍照..哈哈
我们在转会市场洗钱是吗?看看一共亏了多少了...
是不是那位巨星要来?
还是纯粹维拉追债了?

边路还好吧有sterling,ibe,assaidi,alberto正规边锋外，suarez,sturridge,aspas,borini一班前锋都可以踢边路
只是我军缺少有经验，发挥稳定的中生代球员

Liverpool and Tottenham Eye ￡35m Move for Chelsea Target - Report

Liverpool and Tottenham are set to go head- to-head in signing Chelsea target and Anzhi Makhachkala winger Willian, according to the Sun. The Brazilian international has long been on the Europa League winners' radar and are interested in landing him this summer.

The 25-year-old joined the Russian club in January from Shakhtar Donetsk in a￡30m move. However, the financial crisis at Anzhi has seen them change their transfer policies, as they look to offload their high-profile players to balance the finances. This includes the likes of Samuel Eto'o, who has issued come and get me plea to Chelsea.

The report claims the Reds are set to rival the north Londoners as both clubs are keen on bringing Willian to England, which could see them cough ￡35m for his signature. Brendan Rodgers is keen on bringing a star player this summer as he admitted that he is in the market to add quality to Liverpool's current squad.

Liverpool had been interested in signing Henrik Mkhitaryan and Diego Costa this summer. However, the Armenian midfielder snubbed a chance to join the Reds and completed his move to Borussia Dortmund while the Atletico Madrid attacker insisted to continue in the Spanish capital.

In addition to this, Rodgers is also believed to have lost the race in signing long-term target Christian Eriksen, who has set his heart on joining Andre Villas-Boas at Spurs. With Liverpool already missing out on signing three players, they are keen to bring Willian to Anfield.

Spurs' move for Willian will heavily depend on Gareth Bale's future at White Hart Lane. The north London club are willing to pay ￡35m for the Brazilian's signature only if they allow the Welsh international to make a huge money move to Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, the Express reports Manchester City have withdrawn their desire in signing Willian. The Citizens were believed to be one among the clubs keen on signing the winger, but have cooled their interest in landing him.

Willian revealed that he had his heart set on making a move to England during the winter transfer window, but was blocked by Shakhtar back then. He could get his dream move completed, if either of the top flight Premier League clubs decide to sign him before the transfer window shuts.

Willian joined Anzhi for ￡31m in January 2013.

Liverpool have joined the race to sign Tottenham Hotspur target Willian, according to The Sun.

The Anzhi Makhachkala playmaker has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, after news broke of the Russian club's intentions to make major cutbacks this summer.

The Brazil international almost moved to England from former club Shakhtar Donetsk in the January transfer window, but Anzhi saw off competition from a host of rival suitors to secure the player's signature in a ￡31million deal.

Spurs were one of the sides interested in signing Willian at the turn of the year, and Andre Villas-Boas remains keen to bring the South American to White Hart Lane before September 1.

Anzhi owner Suleyman Kerimov is determined to make a profit on a player he signed to a long-term contract less than 12 months ago, with ￡35million the new figure being touted to activate his sale.

Tottenham will only meet that valuation if they receive a lucrative sum from the impending sale of Gareth Bale, while Liverpool are prepared to turn attention to Willian following the breakdown of a potential deal for fellow Brazilian Diego Costa.

The Atletico Madrid star had been linked with a ￡24.5million move to Anfield, but Brendan Rodgers is now ready to offer more than ￡10million more than that to bring Willian to Merseyside.

"It seems Liverpool are now in the picture too," confirmed a top Sun source. "Everyone knows Tottenham will have a lot of money after they sell Gareth Bale.

"Willian cost over ￡30million and there is no chance Tottenham will get him for less.

"Zenit St Petersburg and Shakhtar are also interested and they are ready to pay that money."

With rival interest from Zenit and Shakhtar, Liverpool and Tottenham will face stiff competition for Willian, with it unlikely either club can conclude a deal before the start of the 2013/14 Premier League campaign next weekend

话说拜认这赛季只会给一个人走就是左后卫还是luis gustova。。。我军看中他的左后卫，而阿申纳如果成功买走luis。。拜认就不放走别的球员了。。。
报道说我们在等阿申纳是否可以带走，不可以的话我们就带走拜认左后卫。。。
如果阿申纳买了，我们就选回旧的目标aly sisoko。。。
而如果我们选拜认左后卫，山德兰便选aly sisoko。。。所以我们等阿申纳，三德兰等我们。。。

With news filtering in that Stewart Downing has completed a ￡6mil move to West Ham United, there’s increasing speculation that Granada left-back Guilherme Siqueira will be arriving shortly in a ￡5mil move that will tick another box off Reds manager Brendan Rodgers pre-season list.

If shuffling under-performing, over-paid players off the pay-roll was priority number one, it’s safe to say that Rodgers has been doing an admiral job with Andy Carroll, Pepe Reina and now Stewart Downing making way; though the considerable loss taken on both Carroll and Downing – as well as the fact that we’re paying part of Pepe’s wages for him to play at Napoli – continues to be a point of contention with the more fiscally minded. Downing will be joining Hammers boss Sam Allardyce at Upton Park on a four year deal after initially spurning the advances of the London club.

The 29-year old preferred to stay and fight for his place in Brendan Rodgers squad – and hold onto his ￡80,000 per week pay packet – but ultimately realized his place in the first team would be limited at best. “It’s a great opportunity for me being here, it’s a great club and I’m really excited to get going” said the winger who will join former Anfield alumni Joe Cole and Andy Carroll in the capital. Meanwhile, the Reds are believed to be on the verge of landing Brazilian left-back Guilherme Siqueira from Spanish side Granada. Liverpool have made an approach for Bayern Munich's left back Diego Contento. The 23-year-old is currently a backup player for the German champions and Liverpool's manager Brendan Rodgers is hopeful a deal can be wrapped up before the end of August.

Rodgers' top priority is to sign a brand new left back as a backup for Jose Enrique and it is understood that the Northern Irish coach has sent scouts to watch Contento in training and pre-season.

Contento has so far struggled to oust Philipp Lahm from the left back role at the Allianz Arena and has decided that his future now lies elsewhere.
