利物浦回购马斯切拉诺

　　英国媒体《每日快报》披露，由于马斯切拉诺在诺坎普未来充满疑云，利物浦有可能今夏将其回购。现年29岁的马斯切拉诺在利物浦效力三年半时间，2010年夏天，他以2200万英镑的价格加盟巴塞罗那，司职防守型中场的他被改造成为中后卫，但依旧未能在诺坎普踢主力。过去一个赛季38轮西甲联赛中，马斯切拉诺仅获得21次首发机会。日前，利物浦主帅罗杰斯正在物色防守型中场，有可能将阿根廷人带回安菲尔德。

Sky Sports: Ajax confirm Alderweireld offer

Ajax have confirmed an offer has been received for Toby Alderweireld amid reports the Belgian defender is again wanted in the Premier League.

Alderweireld rejected a move to Norwich City earlier in the summer after failing to agree personal terms regarding a switch to Carrow Road.

Liverpool have long been linked with a bid for the 24-year-old, while reports on Sunday claimed that Tottenham have joined the chase for Alderweireld.

The speculation suggested that Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas wants to sign Alderweireld and his Ajax team-mate Christian Eriksen in a ￡15million double deal.

However, according to the Dutch media, Russian outfit Spartak Moscow are the club to have submitted the latest offer for the defender.

Ajax's director of football Marc Overmars declined to name the interested party, but confirmed talks are ongoing.

"We have received an offer," Overmars told De Telegraaf. "We won't give any names as we are still in talks.
"But, just like with Norwich City earlier, I expect we can work out a deal with this club."

Alderweireld has one year left on his contract at Ajax and has previously expressed a desire to move to either the Premier League or Bundesliga.

The Reds close in on a fifth summer signing…

Liverpool are closing on a ￡5m deal for Granada’s Brazilian left-back Guilherme Siqueira, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The Reds were reportedly close to a loan deal for Benfica’s 22-year-old Paraguayan left-back Melgarejo, but are now believed to have turned their attentions to the Brazilian fullback. The 27-year-old had an impressive term in La Liga, and would provide a more experienced option to compete with Jose Enrique for the starting left-back slot.

Siqueira scored six times in 35 La Liga appearances last season, and is very comfortable on the ball. He can overlap a left-winger, or link up play with the midfield with crisp, short passes. Having only played in slower-paced leagues, Siqueira is weak in the air though, and could struggle to deal with the physicality of the Premier League.

Enrique had a solid season for Liverpool, but has suffered injury problems during his Anfield career, and academy graduates Jack Robinson and John Flanagan have been sent on loan to the Championship.

Brendan Rodgers has already been active in this transfer window, without spending a lot of money. Deals for Simon Mignolet, Iago Aspas, Kolo Toure and Luis Alberto will have cost roughly the same amount they will receive from West Ham for Andy Carroll and Stewart Downing.

便宜货都可踢欧洲最贵的比赛，那红军那些球员像不像跳蚤市场的拉圾堆 。。？

所以说要批评别人前，是不是要看看我们自家红军球员和领队的表现？不然就像蜗牛嘲笑乌龟爬得慢 。。

体检结果一切顺利的话，29岁的唐宁将正式成为“铁锤帮”的一员。为引进这名英格兰国脚边锋，西汉姆联将支付500万英镑的转会费。

Stewart Downing is on the brink of completing a move from Liverpool FC to West Ham for a fee of around ￡6million .

The winger has already agreed personal terms with the Hammers and is undergoing a medical in the capital.

Downing made 91 appearances for Liverpool following his arrival from Aston Villa for ￡20million two years ago.

The 29-year-old was hoping to stay and fight for a place in Brendan Rodgers' side this season.

However, after being informed he was surplus to requirements he has accepted the opportunity to sign for West Ham.

Downing will be reunited with former Liverpool team-mates Andy Carroll and Joe Cole at Upton Park.

West Ham confirm Downing capture

West Ham have confirmed the signing of Liverpool winger Stewart Downing on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The England international passed his medical at Upton Park on Tuesday morning and becomes Sam Allardyce's fifth summer signing, alongside the likes of Andy Carroll, who also arrived from the Reds this summer.

The 29-year-old looked to have fought his way back into Brendan Rodgers' first-team plans at Anfield following a disappointing start to his Liverpool career, but opted to join the Hammers for the assurance of a regular Premier League starting spot.

"I'm very excited," he told the club's official website. "It's a great opportunity for me being here, it's a great club and I'm really excited to get going.

"I'm ready and I'm fit for the first game against Cardiff City. I've played a decent few games for Liverpool in pre-season, so there will be no problems on that front.

"It's all happened quickly, but I'm really excited and hoping to play a part on Saturday."

Downing moved to Liverpool from Aston Villa for ￡20 million in July 2011 and made 91 appearances for the Reds, scoring seven goals.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is confident Daniel Agger will not target an Anfield exit following Barcelona's rejected bid for the defender.
The Dane's agent revealed on Wednesday the Catalan giants failed with a recent offer after submitting a ￡25 million bid for Chelsea centre-back David Luiz.

And with Luis Suarez making no secret of his desire to leave Liverpool, Rodgers does not expect similar behaviour from vice-captain Agger.

"Daniel has given me his word that he loves Liverpool and I will expect him to be here," Rodgers is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror.

"He had chances to leave, but told me as long as we wanted him here, then he wanted to stay.

"He's been brilliant, that is why we have given him the vice-captaincy. The one thing I got from him from the very first conversation is loyalty.

"That is why he signed a new contract and committed himself to the club, and why we gave him a new contract - because we want him to be part of our future.

"He is important to the way we play, and he has been central to the way we work since I came here, and he knows that. There have been a couple of inquiries, but we have made our position clear."
