Brief Information
The Haunted Mansion is back, but with a new mystery surrounding it and just waiting to be found by daring Maplers. Now filled with zombies, skeletons and other creepy or plain scary monsters, they will try to prevent you from uncovering the entire mystery hidden in the Mansion. But to the courageous Maplers that do manage to do so, a Eerie Chair awaits them, a souvenir to remember this spooky adventure by.
Olivia awaits outside the Mansion located in Masteria, in dire need for help… will you help out the seemingly innocent girl?
Party Quest Requirements
• Required minimum 3 members in a squad.
• All players must complete the pre-requisite quests before the party can enter.
• There are 3 level ranges for this Party Quest:
– 15 ~ 40
– 41 ~ 60
– 61 onwards
How do I get to the Haunted Mansion?
From Kerning City Subway, purchase a ticket to go to New Leaf City(NLC), after which, you will just need to hail a cab at the very left corner of town.
What are the possible reward after defeating the boss of the Haunted Mansion?
The reward is a chair that is most magnificient indeed.
2. [System Event] Witch Malady
(Event Period: 06/10/2010 – 03/11/2010)
Witch Malady is located outside the Mansion as well, and she is on a quest to collect as many Dark Tokens in the quickest time for the Great Baba Yaga. In doing so, she will ensure that her sect of witches would be the best in the Great Baba Yaga’s eyes!
Where do I find these Dark Tokens?
These Dark Tokens are dropped by all mobs in the world! Here are some of the equipment Witch Malady will reward you with… if you have enough Dark Tokens of course.
3. [System Event] Cassandra’s Trick or Treat
(Event Period: 06/10/2010 – 03/11/2010)
Cassandra is getting into the spirit of Halloween by exchanging trick or treat gifts for Halloween Stick Candies that is dropped by all monsters! Experience the fun of Trick and Treating with Cassandra… will you get a trick, or a treat?
What are the tricks and treats? Here are some examples of what you might get!

A ghost costume, a leech costume, and a suspicious looking black bag…
TREATS
  
Wonderful treats that not only taste good but helps you on your adventures!
Repeatable every 1 hour.
4. [System Event] Suni Needs Help!
(Event Period: 06/10/2010 – 27/10/2010)
Cute little Suni is in desperate need for mesos, and she is asking Maplers to help her out by donating what they can to her. She will show her gratitude by giving away her prized possessions, based on how much has been donated to her, and she does have some really good items!
You may donate 1 meso to 1 billion mesos, once every hour. Of course, the higher you donate, the higher the chances to get something really good. We have peeked at what Suni has to give away, and here is what we managed to get a glimpse at. There are plenty more of items we couldn’t see though!

5. [System Event] They’re Coming…
(Event Period: 13/10/2010 – 10/11/2010)
Sealed boxes are dropping all over Maple World, and no one is sure why they are. But many are starting to find out that these boxes contain wonderful loot! But, perhaps, these boxes are too good to be true, and there is a catch. And, with whispers about a war in the shadows being heard in the dark alleys, it seems like too much of a coincidence. Perhaps, someone as wise as Cassandra would know more.
She has been requesting for feathers from her owl, and some have said that they can be found in these very boxes! Return them to her, or perhaps, use them yourself to see something miraculous happen.
Try to uncover the mystery together with Cassandra, and earn yourself some great loot in the process!
Cassandra will allow up to 2 Special Exchange Trades with each character for those who assist her in getting the feathers!

6. [System Event] M.V Event
(Event Period: 20/10/2010 – 10/11/2010)
Cody is part of a small band of heroes sworn to protect Maple World from outside threats. But even when they are few in number, they have stopped countless plots in the shadows… Until now. Mal Volance (M.V) who was a fine hero that was part of their group has betrayed them and now seeks to cause anarchy instead of order. Unsure what has caused M.V to change, Cody suspects that he is under the influence of some strange, even demonic force, and is positive that he’s plotting something nefarious and needs help to stop him. Will you be able to protect the world from M.V?
Take part in the adventure to find out more about M.V through quests and a PQ Dungeon that is for parties with 3 to 5 members, and be reward if you successfully protect Maple World from the threat of M.V!
Party Quest Requirements
• Required minimum 3 members in a squad.
• A maximum of 5 members can be in a squad to participate in this PQ.
How do I get started?
Cody found in selected locations, like Henesys.
What are the possible rewards?
You might get your hands on scrolls, ores, firecrackers and most of all a MV’s Hat, of which there is a version for each stat!

7. [Gachapon Updates] Flower Corsages!

Now there is a new reason for you to play with the Gachapon as Flower Corsages will be added to the list of goodies you can get from the Gachapon. These flower corsages are for your medal slot, and will give you a title corresponding to it’s name! Available at all Gachapon machines.

以我看msea以往一直以来它的patch
都是这个月big patch，下个月small patch
在下个月有轮回big。。。 repeating the route

Dear Maplers,
Please be informed that we will be having a Game Client Patch to v0.97 and Cash Shop update on 10th November 2010 from 0900hrs – 1500hrs (+8 GMT)
Game Service will be down during this period of time. Please logout before this period of time to prevent any game disruption.
For more information about v0.97 patch, please refer to the patch notes.
Manual Patch Download
Downloading of v0.97 manual patch is available NOW!
We advise maplers to start downloading the provided manual patches earlier to avoid downloading congestion during or after the patch.
Please kindly refer our Download Page for the latest version on client downloading.
Note:
Please kindly take note to only start doing the manual patching after 10th November 2010, 0900hrs (+8 GMT) so as not to interrupt your game play before the Game Client Patch.
Instructions
1. After downloading the manual patch file, double-click on the patcher -> Select the folder where the game is installed.
2. For most users, the default folder is c:\program files\wizet\maplestory.
3. *If you receive an error (canvas.dll is corrupt), please download the new client.
4. *If you receive an error (maplestory.exe not found), please select the correct folder. |

Gold Richie who is 2nd richest person (other than Cai Shen) in MapleSEA is back! Get bonus EXP up to 13500 EXP PER ENTRY with the Gold Richie’s Treasure Map Event!
How to participate:
Obtain quest from NPC Cassandra. 
Collect the 20 each of following items from monsters:
Double Click the Blank Compass once you have gather all the required items to transform it into Gold Compass!
Double Click the Gold Compass between 8pm-10pm to go into the event map!
You will have 1 minute to stay inside the event map to hunt Golden Pig’s Egg! (Surprise awaits you when you open up the eggs!)
The best part is, upon entering the map, you will receive BONUS EXP!!!. Bonus EXP varies between your character level.
NOTE:
- There is a 7 minutes interval if you are going to enter event map for the second time or more.
- Minimum level requirement for this event is level 13.
- Quest is repeatable every 30 minutes to receive the Blank Compass from NPC Cassandra.

- Collect alphabets drop by monsters to make a full “Happy New Year"and talk to NPC Maple Administrator.
 - NPC Maple Administrator will reward you with a Devil Scroll.
 - Bring the Devil Scroll to NPC Chun Ji in Kerning or NPC Geanie in Ludibrium.
 - Fulfill their requests and they will decipher the devil scroll into a Magic Box
 filled with random treasures! - Bring the maigc box to NPC Mr Pickall in Kerning City to reveal the hidden treasure that is inside the magic box!
Curious to know what will be inside the mysterious Magic Box? Mr Pickall did reveal a few of the treasures as stated below.

- Minimum level requirement for this event is level 13.
- Quest is repeatable from NPC Maple Administrator.

Player can celebrate the “Lunar Year of Rabbit” with the majestic lion dance in MapleSEA! All they have to do is speak to Yuan Bao Fo conveniently located in most towns to travel to a special event map where the playful Dong Dong Chiang hides!
If you happen to miss Dong Dong Chiang to the early birds, do linger around and keep a sharp eye for it as it re-spawns after some time. Defeat the monster and celebrate the Chinese New Year special with special drops like local specialties and Maple weapons!
