Critical info on Wii leaked?

Nintendo is expected to announce the official price and release date of its Wii system at the upcoming Leipzig Games Convention in Germany later this month.
But today on the Wii channel of IGN, Nintendo editor Matt Casamassina posted an article that may have shed some light on Nintendo's secrets.
In the article, Casamassina cited several anonymous sources in his report on the Wii's price, specs, launch, and unit production numbers. The article was quickly taken down due to concern from the aforementioned anonymous sources that the information contained would give their identities away.
A bit later, the article was re-posted, this time with much of the original information missing. The rumored release date and price, however, remained.
According to the anonymous sources, the Wii will be priced at $229 (U.S.), will come in a black and white version, and will be released either on November 2 or November 12. It was also rumored that Nintendo has increased their production of units to more than 5 million by the end of the year due to a higher interest level and positive reaction from this year's E3.
Bogus or not? It's hard to say. The fact that IGN took down the article and deleted several key bits of information for fear of outing their sources makes it smell legit.
Only time will tell.
