("BESB") to allow SSB to develop and to complete the development of TM Land (as defined hereunder) measuring 38 acres ("Proposed JV"); and (ii) proposed diversification of the existing business of DPS and its subsidiaries ("DPS Group" or "Group") to include construction and property investment ("Property Business") ("Proposed Diversification"). （吉隆坡29日訊）DPS資源（DPS,7198,主板產業組）與Biotrend Estate私人有限公司（BESB）簽署聯營協議，以發展馬六甲佔地38英畝土地，並獻議將業務多元化至建築與產業投資。

該公司發文告表示，旗下子公司Shantawood私人公司與BESB簽署聯營協議，共同發展馬六甲38英畝土地成發展總值達1億6千628萬令吉的綜合房產項目，整個工程將在2017年1月啟動，並在60個月內竣工。（星洲網）

法律纠纷中胜出 DPS急升20%

（吉隆坡12日讯）在 Hong Leong MSIG Takaful Bhd的法律纠纷中胜出后，DPS资源（DPS Resources Bhd）今早一度急升20%。

截至11时03分，该股起1仙或10%，至11仙，达1351万2100股易手，是第九大热门。

DPS资源昨日向大马交易所报备，上诉庭在4月22日对MSIG提出的上诉作出裁决。

上诉庭驳回MSIG就赔偿和利息问题的上诉，因而维持高庭的判决。

但是，上诉庭批准MSIG针对数额的上诉，并发回高庭重新评估损害赔偿。

DPS资源子公司 Shantawood私人有限公司（SSB）于2012年12月29日，在莎阿南高庭向MSIG提出诉讼，以索回2421万9074令吉（火险索偿）的损失，因MSIG否定SSB依据火险保单作出的索赔。

MSIG在2013年2月25日就此提呈答辩书。

在2014年9月26日，法庭通过SSB的申索，并判以1949万6398.90令吉赔偿、每年5%利率的5万令吉成本。

MSIG随后在2014年10月20日，对判决提出上诉，并申请暂缓执行高庭的判决。

We refer to the announcements made on 29 September 2014, 29 October 2014, 25 June 2015, 26 October 2015, 5 November 2015,  30 November 2015, 22 January 2016 and 30 March 2016 in relation to the Material Litigation ("Announcement"). Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the Announcement shall apply herein. The Board of Directors of DPS wishes to announce the following update to the Material Litigation. On the 22 April 2016, the Court of Appeal delivered its decision on the appeal filed by MSIG. The Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal by MSIG on the issues of liability and interest and thereby affirmed the High Court decision on the said issues. However the Court of Appeal allowed the appeal by MSIG in parton the issue of quantum; whereby the Court of Appeal directed that the matter be sent back to the High Court for a reassessment of damages. Bhd. (Company No. 1176072-M) ("PDSB") from the shareholders (all of them are individuals) of PDSB ("the Vendors") at a consideration of RM2.00 ("the Acquisition"). Upon the completion of the Acquisition, PDSB shall become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. PDSB is a company incorporated in Malaysia on 18 February 2016. The authorised share capital of PDSB is RM400,000 divided into 400,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each and the issued and paid up capital is RM2.00 comprising of 2 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each fully paid. The intended principal activities of PDSB are to carry out the business of investment holding, property development and construction. The Acquisition is not expected to have any material effect on the share capital, earnings per share and net assets of the Company for the financial year ending 31 March 2017. （马六甲25日讯）DPS RESOURCES BERHAD（进权资源控股有限公司）董事经理兼SAND NISKO CAPITAL BERHAD集团主席拿督苏进权在彭亨州苏丹85岁华诞荣膺SSAP拿督斯里勋衔。

拿督斯里苏进权现年56岁，祖籍广东惠来人氏，出生于马六甲，与太太拿汀斯里朱金月育有4男1女。

他是白手创业的企业家，集团旗下拥有两间上市公司，从事领域包括木材、家具、土地发展、建筑与精品酒店等。

除了商业事务，他也活跃于社团活动，目前担任苏进权慈善基金会执行主席、世界苏氏联宗会副理事长、马来西亚排球总会副会长、联邦公开上市公司财政、马六甲立人华小董事主席、马六甲公教中学董事、森美兰家私工会主席、马六甲历史城射击公会署理主席、马六甲中央县跆拳道公会名誉主席、在森美兰中华总商会、马来西亚中华总商会、甲潮州会馆、甲惠来公会、甲精武体育会担任名誉顾问、也担任马六甲国际狮子会与马六甲拿督公会顾问职。
