INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHAIRMAN
Herman Hui, Hong Kong, is the elected Chairman of the World Scout Committee.
- World Scout Committee membership
Hammamet, Tunisia, 8 September 2005 - Herman Hui, a Hong Kong lawyer and businessman has been elected chairman of the World Scout Committee, the governing body of the World Organization of the Scout Movement.
He was elected on the occasion of the 37th World Scout Conference being held 5-9 September in Tunisia.
He announced his desire to "open the Scout movement" and support the process of revising the governence of the nearly 100-year-old organization with the goal of strengthening the unity and effectiveness of the movement.
Mr. Hui, a British citizen, has been in Scouting 43 years, and is actively involved in social action projects of the Scout Association of Hong Kong. He has initiated exchanges between Hong Kong Scouts and young people in China. "Scouting activities are warmly received in China," he explained. Each year the Hong Kong Scouts organize activities jointly with the Chinese Youth Federation to offer Chinese youth the opportunity to benefit from training programmes.

The World Scout Committee is the executive body of the World Organization of the Scout Movement. It is responsible for the implementation of the resolutions of the World Scout Conference and for acting on its behalf between its meetings.
The Committee is composed of 14 members. Twelve, each from a different country, are elected for six-year terms by the World Scout Conference. The members do not represent their country but the interests of the Movement as a whole. The Secretary General, and the Treasurer, of the World Organization of the Scout Movement are ex-officio members of the Committee. The chairmen of the regional Scout committees participate in the World Scout Committee meetings in a consultative capacity.
The Committee meets twice a year, usually in Geneva, Switzerland. Its Steering Committee, consisting of the Chairman, two Vice-Chairmen, and the Secretary General meet as needed

Estimated Budget
• RM100.00 – if needed, before you arrive at KLIA or after arriving home at KLIA for pocket money, transport home etc.
• UK£ 50.00 – in UK£ or EURO 80 for real emergencies (around RM 350.00).
• UK£ – 400 in UK£ for personal Jamboree spending use (around RM 2860.00), may be less or more.
Camp fee RM 2100
Air ticket RM 4000
Pocket RM 2860
Emergencies RM 350
Contingent kit RM 200
THIS MEANS A MINIMUM OF RM 10,000 at the conservative exchange rate of 1 UK£ = 6.7
If you are a shopper, please bring more !!
• You are also responsible for paying your own excess luggage charges at the
Airport.
• If you want to send things home by parcel mail you may be able to do so from the Jamboree post office. Please DO NOT wait to do it at the last minute from the airport. Boxes at the European Post Offices are expensive..
• ATM – If there is an ATM service at the Jamboree, there is a minimum RM10.00 Charge per transaction against your bank account in Malaysia.
• Credit Cards – Not all souvenir shops will have credit card facilities at the Jamboree. Visa and Mastercard more accepted than American Express in Europe.
• You may bring you money in travelers cheques for safety reasons in Pounds Sterling or Euros. |

大家记得要注册哦,没有注册的童军是非法童军.
c) Pembaharuan keahlian dan pendaftaran Kumpulan.
* Pendaftaran Kumpulan dan keahlian adalah wajib diperbaharui setiap tahun. Keahlian untuk ahli-ahli Pengakap luput pada setiap 31hb Mac. Selepas tarikh tersebut, setiap kumpulan dikehendaki berdaftar semula dengan Persekutuan Pengakap Malaysia (PPM).Pendaftaran adalah tanggungjawab Pemimpin yang menjaga kumpulan dan krew masing-masing.
* Diingatkan bahawa tarikh yang ditentukan untuk membuat pendaftaran kumpulan dan keahlian mestilah dipatuhi. Selepas tarikh yang ditentukan, kumpulan-kumpulan yang tidak berdaftar dan gagal mengembalikan borang dan yuran adalah dianggap sebagai kumpulan yang haram dan TIDAK SAH oleh Persekutuan Pengakap Malaysia dan telah melanggar Akta Parlimen tahun 1968 Pindaan (1989 Seksyen VII no 45, 46 & 47 dengan Tajuk Pendaftaran Semula Tahunan dan Banci).
* Kumpulan Pengakap yang Tidak Sah, tidak boleh menjalankan segala aktiviti Pengakap di dalam sekolah atau luar daripada sekolah serta mengikuti segala aktiviti yang dianjurkan oleh Daerah, Negeri, Kebangsaan atau Antarabangsa.
* Sekiranya Kumpulan Pengakap yang Tidak Sah menjalankan aktiviti Pengakap dan terjadinya sebarang kemalangan, Persekutuan Pengakap Malaysia (PPM) tidak akan bertanggungjawab ke atas perkara tersebut. Tindakan melucut atau membatalkan pendaftaran boleh diambil sekiranya kumpulan yang tidak sah itu menjalankan aktiviti dengan memakai seragam Pengakap seperti yang ditetapkan oleh Akta Parlimen.
* Adalah menjadi tanggungjawab Guru Besar/ Pengetua sebagai Kuasa Penganjur kumpulan, Pemimpin Pengakap dan Guru Penasihat/ Pemimpin Kumpulan bagi memastikan bahawa Kumpulan Pengakap berdaftar setiap tahun.

听我的区总监“说”是不能自己拿去BP-House的喔。Franklin你是自己拿去交的吗？？然后你的童军证是不是自己去BP-House拿的呢？？ |
