We can use a perfect -ing form to emphasise that one thing happens another :

If you want to omit the comma, you have to add preposition "by".

Having been sent off is a subordinate clause.
When subordinate clause comes first, we have to put a comma to separate it with the main clause.

If main clause comes first, comma is not needed.

Having been reprimanded , he went straight home.
He went straight home having been reprimanded.

Although it is the truth , people still don't believe it.
People still don't believe it although it is the truth.

Yes they are the same as " I saw you steal money and I saw you stealing money", so are the meanings of both sentences.

It is not a gerund but a present participle.

"I am understood" should be " I have understood".
is/am/are + past participle = passive voice of present simple.

In this case, you can't omit the "to".Usually we omit "to" if the preceding ver ...

Yes they are the same as " I saw you steal money and I saw you stealing money", so are the meanings of both sentences.

It is not a gerund but a present participle.

but now the problem is the word of hope,it seems like the event is yet happening.
hope is a future tense, isnt it? therefore, how am i watching that you r reaching semi-final
since the event haven happened yet.maybe the eveny is happening tomorrow.

the situation is :

the quarter-finals is held tomorrow,so the the semi-finals will absolutely be the day after tomorrow.

for now,the coach say that i hope to see you reaching at least semi-finals.

for above situation,"reaching" is  present participle since it is not happening yet?

i hope to see you reach at least semi-finals.
i hope to see you to reach at least semi-finals.
are these two the same meaning?absolutely yes, rite?

I hope to see you reaching semi final.
I hope to see you that you are reaching the semi final.
(it has a sense of active)

I hope to see you reach the semi final.
I hope to see you that you reach the semi final.
(Before the match , in the middle of the match and after the match , the coach still expects his team to reach.)

The main difference is the sense of active.

Another example for the sense of active.
He is crazy.
He is being crazy. (sense of active)
