Game Client Patch and Cash Shop Update on 13/10

Please be informed that there will be a Game Client Patch and Cash Shop Update on the 13th October 2009, 0000hrs to 0400hrs (+8 GMT). The Game Service will be down during this period. Please logout before this time to avoid any loss of items.

Monster Carnival 2 EXP Boost Event                   Dear Maplers,

With effect from today, character(s) from the losing team of Monster Carnival 2 will enjoy an EXP Boost event of up to 30% increment in EXP for their participation.

Even though the 30% increment in EXPwill vary according to the rank and play time of the participants, itwill still be an added bonus for all Monster Carnival 2 lovers.

Failure or success, MapleSEA would like to reward all Maplers who havetried and trained hard for every Monster Carnival 2 session.

And every good thing will always come to an end, the ending date for Monster Carnival 2 EXP Boost Event is  4th November 2009.

Do train as hard as you during this EXP Boost event and gain additional EXP from 13th October – 4th November 2009.

How to patch from v080 to latest version                   Dear Maplers,

Due to the huge file size for this coming v0.81 and v0.82 patch, pleasebe informed that there will be 2 different methods to patch from v0.80to v0.82.

First Method
1. Download v0.80 ~ v0.81 Manual Patch & v0.81 ~ v0.82 Manual Patch
2. Run and install both manual patch files (run v0.80 ~ v0.81 Manual Patch first, then v0.81 ~ v0.82 Manual Patch)  

Second Method
1. Download v0.80 ~ v0.82 Manual Patch
2. Run and install the manual patch

For existing users who are using version v0.80, kindly download the manual patch(s) prior to the actual patch date.

v0.80 ~ v0.81 Manual Patch

Alternatively, you may visit the download page to download the manual patch for the earlier versions.

Launch of Maple Cash System                   Dear Maplers,
        As part of Asiasoft’s relentless pursuit toimprove your gaming experience, we will be launching the new Maple Cashsystem this October.
        Currently, all forms of @Cash top-up (e.g. top-ups via Pre-Paid Cards, AXSstation, etc) are stored in your Asiasoft Passport as an unified @Cash.This deposition will last for a period of 365 days and expires if theyare not use within the stipulated timeframe.
        After variousfeedbacks and discussions, we have decided to implement Maple Cashsystem to the existing Asiasoft Passport @Cash system. Maplers need toconvert their @Cash charged into Maple Cash for usage within the game.After this implementation, your Maple Cash will not expire.
        To convert your @Cash into Maple Cash, please follow the step-by-step guide below.
        1. Log into your Asiasoft Passport via https://passport.asiasoft.net
       
        2. Under @Cash, click on “Buy Game Cash”.
       
        3. Select “MapleSEA” from the drop down list.
       
        4. Click on the “Charge” link beside the Game Login IDs shown  to top-up your Maple Cash.
       
        5.Key in the amount of @Cash that you wish to convert in Maple Cash andclick on “Next”. Please be aware that currently the minimum conversionamount is 1,000 @Cash and once @Cash is converted into Maple Cash, thisprocess is irreversible.
       
        6. Enter the verification code and click on “Confirm” to complete the conversion process.
       
        7.Upon a successful conversion, you will see a summary page containingthe transaction details. An email with the transaction details willalso be sent to your registered email account.
       
        8. You can check the @Cash Transaction History to view your conversion history.

FAQ for Maple Cash Conversion
        1) What is Maple Cash?
Maple Cash is MapleSEA’s game cash. It can be used in the Maple TradingSystem and for purchasing Cash Items from the Cash Shop. However, MapleCash can only be used in MapleSEA.
        2) Will Maple Cash expire?
No, Maple Cash will not expire, unlike @Cash which will expire 365 days from the top-up date.
        3) What is the minimum conversion amount?
Minimum amount each conversion is 1,000 @Cash.
        4) What is the conversion rate?
1,000 @Cash = 1,000 Maple Cash
        5) Can Maple Cash be shared between my MapleSEA game accounts under the same Asiasoft Passport?
Yes. The Maple Cash will be available to all MapleSEA game accounts under the same Asiasoft Passport.
        6) I have converted my @Cash to the game account of another game, can I have a refund?
We apologize that this conversion is irreversible. Therefore, please becareful to check your conversion amount and designated game accounts.

2X EXP Event on 17th & 18th Oct
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Maplers,

Once again the 2X EXP event is here! On 17th Oct 2009, 2X EXP event will start from 1500hrs – 1700hrs, 2030hrs – 2230hrs. This event will last from 17th October – 18th October 2009.

You must be wondering just how many events we will be having this fun-packed weekend, let us do a simple recap on all the events.

1. Code Harvesting Event (17th October 2009, 1.00pm – 3.00pm for Aquila, Bootes, Delphinus and Eridanus 4.00pm – 6.00pm for Cassiopeia, Fornax, Gemini and Hercules)
2. 2X Drop Rate for the month of October (Weekend: 1400hrs to 1500hrs & 1930hrs to 2030hrs)
3. 2X EXP event for this coming weekend (Weekend: 1500hrs – 1700hrs, 2030hrs – 2230hrs)
