《特朗普上任的最大受害者 - 宝翔 Prolexus 》

Prolexus 从2013年开始至2016年，托世界运动服装的带动趋势，还有大客户如 Nike & Under Amour 的福，revenue & PBT 一直不断上扬，公司的价值也扶摇而上。

公司于2016年 right issue 筹集 56.9m 的资金，打算在越南建造约 22m的 garment factory，还有 33m Johor fabric mill，以迎合世界运动服装高企的需求，带动公司的成长。 公司也是一家在 TPP 计划下的受惠者。

然而好景不长，特朗普总统的上任打乱了公司未来计划的阵脚。美国从 TPP 中抽身而出， 特朗普总统也推出一系列的政策欢迎美国企业从世界各地回流美国。

基于 CPTPP ( TPP 在美国退出之后改名为 CPTPP) 的不确定性，公司原本计划在越南建造约 22m的 garment factory 已经搁置。 公司会把剩下的资金 19m 投入于 Johor 刚刚建造好的 fabric mill。

在2017 Annual Report 里，已经建造好的 fabric mill 将会于 FY18 1st half 投入运作。这不仅会让公司更加有效的迎合 apparel manufacturing value chain，还会加强公司的主要业务。

不过，公司也提及基于 fabric mill 处于刚运作的状态，尚无法 100% 有效地善用，预计 depreciation (cost) 会很高，而在 FY18 面临亏损的困境。

公司在未来也会更加谨慎于 rising labour cost, foreign currency

fluctuations, regulatory and policy changes and other macro factors。

在2017年最后一个交易日，公司公布了差强人意的 FY18Q1季度业绩。 Revenue从 FY17Q1的85.5m 下滑了 25% 至 FY18Q1 的 65.3m。 而 PBT 也下滑了 57%, 从FY17Q1 8.9m跌至 FY18Q1 3.8m。公司解释是因为 apparel division 销售订单的跌势，被疲软的美国销售环境所影响，因为公司的主要出口国为美国。

基于公司面對嚴峻挑戰和未来太多的不确定性因素 (potential drop in revenue, PBT, higher depreciation in new fabric mill, strengthen of MYR)，bluefun 小弟认为 Prolexus 于现在的价码 MYR0.860 尚不处于诱人投资的阶段。未来下滑的营业额与盈利趋势，将会带动公司的价值跌势。   

别忘了Prolexus 的投资大户 Manulife 已经不是 substantial shareholder，而另一位大户 EPF 也正在积极的割爱 (公司跌出 Shariah Compliance List)。

除了大客户 Nike & Under Amour ，公司也必须在未来的路途里发掘更多的长期客户，特别是大户，以减少订单下滑的冲击。

当前，越南在织纺业可说是世界上数一数二的，首屈一指的。 也许公司可以考虑与越南企业合作，取经互惠互利，开拓另一个大商机！！

也许在一场大暴风雨后，才是另一次的华丽转身。

（吉隆坡26日讯）服装制造商宝翔（Prolexus Bhd）第二季净利下挫42.8%，归咎于销售下跌、美元趋弱，以及蒙受未实现外汇损失。

宝翔今日向大马交易所报备，截至1月杪2018财政年次季，净利由765万令吉，或每股4.47仙，跌至437万令吉，或每股2.52仙。

尽管广告业务有所改善，但由于服装业务的销售订单减少，以及美元汇率疲软，季度营业额从1亿888万令吉，降21.8%至8510万令吉。

该公司指出，该季度蒙受287万令吉的未实现外汇损失。

综合2018财年首半年的表现，净利跌52%至672万令吉，同期为1409万令吉；营业额从1亿9640万令吉，降23.4%至1亿5044万令吉。

该集团预计，如无重大经济变动和不可预见的情况，未来几个季度的业绩将保持稳定。

除了提供多媒体平台广告服务，宝翔主要涉及制造服装和提供此类服务。

根据最新年报，约44.4%的收入来自美国、欧洲国家31.4%、中国8.7%、大马3.4%，以及余下的12.1%来自其他国家。
