我這幾天1天最少有2次要直接按on/off的button來offzzz
所以打算quit了...zzz
不然我電腦肯定1年内報銷zzz

HackShield Disconnection Issue

Dear Maplers,

Players who have experienced disconnection issue due to this error code (while fighting in Zakum, Horn Tail, Scarlion, Mu Lung Training Centre OR you are using Microsoft Vista), kindly follow the instructions listed below.


This report can actually help us in identifying the root of the problem.

Ahnlab has provided us a tool in finding the source of the HackShield related error.

Please download the tools from http://global.ahnlab.com/
1. Go to Support> Technical Support>Download AhnReport.

Here are the steps on how to get the report.

1. Unzip the AhnReport file in your PC.

2. Run game client. Once you get DC-ed during the fight. (Client Closed)

3. Run AhnReport.

4. Send report file to us at maplesea.custservice@asiasoftsea.net.

*Please use appropriate subject titles for your mail accordingly.

For e.g. if you get the error code while fighting Zakum, the subject title should be Hack Shield Disconnection Issue (Zakum),

If you get the error code and you are using Vista, please use the subject title as Hack Shield Disconnection Issue (Vista).

We hope to solve this problem asap so that all Maplers can enjoy their boss fighting.

Announcement On Conficker Worm                   Dear Maplers,
        Telekom Malaysia Berhad ™ wishes to informits customers that they may be experiencing slow browsing due to thewidespread infection of the Conficker Worm.
        Conficker, also known as Downup, Downadup and Kido, is a computer wormthat surfaced in October 2008 and targets the Microsoft Windowsoperating system. The worm exploits a previously patched vulnerabilityin the Server service used by Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista,Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 Beta, and WindowsServer 2008 R2 Beta.
        The Conficker worm is a computer wormthat can infect your computer and spread itself to other computersacross a network automatically, without human interaction. It is astandalone malicious program which uses computer or network resourcesto make complete copies of itself. It may include code or other malwareto damage both the system and the network
        Conflicker infects other computers across a network by exploiting the vulnerability in the Windows Server service (SVCHOST.EXE). It might spread through file sharing and via removable drives, such as USBdrives (also known as thumb drives). The worm adds a file to theremovable drive so that when the drive is used, the AutoPlay dialog boxwill show one additional option. The Conficker Worm can also disableimportant services on your computer.
        TM stronglyencourages its customers to update unpatched systems as soon aspossible. Additionally, TM recommends that customers take the followingpreventive measures to help mitigate the security risks:
Step 1 – Turn on your firewall – Point to Control Panel -> Network and Internet Connections ->Windows Firewall.
Step 2 – Update Windows – Open up Internet Explorer and go to http://update.microsoft.com.  Do all the urgent or required updates.
Step 3 – Verify that your antivirus software is on and keep it up-to-date. You should have a “resident” (always running) antivirus software installed such as Norton, McAfee, AVG,Trend Micro, etc. Open your antivirus and see if it is running andupdated. Update it if it is not. You can also go to Start Menu ->Control Panel -> Security Center to verify that antivirus is running.

On the night of the Perseid meteor shower, Spiruna’s assistant woke upabruptly from a nightmare and hurriedly ran to look for her Master,Spiruna who was still soundly asleep.

“Master! Master! Hurry wake up! I need to tell you something! Please please listen to me!” Spiruna’s assistant shrieked.

Spiruna look at her assistant and said “ahhh let me catch some sleep, Ihave not been having much rest ever since the unite of Delphinus andEridanus”

“But, but, but, I just dreamt of the meeting of another two constellations!!” replied Spiruna’s Assistant.

AsiaSoft would like to provide you with some of the Frequently Asked Questions.

Question: What is your reason for doing this world merge?
Answer: This is to balance the population to enhancethe gameplay on low population has affected majority of the players inboth Fornax and Gemini world.

Question: What will happen to my character?
Answer: Characters are retained. The current worldselection page will still show Fornax and Gemini in the world selectionpage. If you choose Fornax, only your existing Fornax world characterswill be displayed. This applies vice versa for Gemini world.

Question: What will happen to my items?
Answer: Please rest assured that items will not be removed.

Question: Are my Cash items transferable after the world merge?
Answer: No, Cash items can only be shared between characters in the same world under the same Maple account.

Question: Will there be any changes in the guild system?
Answer: No, but if the guilds share the same names inboth worlds, they will be re-named and given a temporary name. Forexample, if guild “MSEA” is found in both Fornax and Gemini worlds, itwill be renamed to MSEA_F and MSEA_G.

Question: If my guild name in Fornax shares the same guild name in Gemini, how can I re-name it?
Answer: Please advise the guild leader to send an email to maplesea.custservice@asiasoftsea.net with the subject title: “Changing of guild name”. In the email, do include the following information:
1. Guild name
2. Guild leader IGN
3. New Guild name

Please note that the name change request can only be performed once andit cannot be revised or change once the process is completed. The guildnames will be changed during the weekly regular server checks.

Question: What will happen to my rank position?
Answer: The ranking lists for both worlds will bemerged into one. Currently, the ranking system is still undergoing arevamp to introduce the new ranking list for Fornax and Gemini.

Question: How can I remain training in popular monster fields if the map is flooded with Maplers from the other world?
Answer: More channels will be added in both Fornax& Gemini worlds after the merger and in order to increase moretraining grounds while easing the problem of kill-stealing, MapleSEAhas been implementing mini dungeons of various level ranges sinceversion 0.63. We will continue to add more dungeons in the future. Atthe same time, we will shorten the spawn rate of some mini-bosses sothat everyone can have a chance to defeat it.

INTERNET SERVICES DISRUPTION                    Dear Maplers,

Telekom Malaysia Berhad ™ wishes to announce that its consortiummembers have detected that a 2nd cable fault on Segment 7 of the AsiaPacific Cable Network 2 (APCN2) undersea cable network between Chinaand Taiwan on Friday, 14 August 2009.

The fault follows three other service disruptions that recently hit thesame cable network, affecting APCN2 Segment 7, between Hong Kong andTaiwan, and APCN2 Segment 1, which connects Singapore and Malaysia. Theearlier faults on APCN2 Segment 1 were restored on Sunday, 16 August2009.

As a result, customers using Internet services may continue toexperience slow browsing while accessing websites hosted in the US andNorthern Asia. In addition, customers using other IP services such asVirtual Private Network (VPN)over Internet and other critical business applications linked to the USand Northern Asia may experience some service degradation. To alleviatethe problem, some of the links have been directed to alternate routesto ease the congestion.

Restoration works on the affected cables are already in progress. Fullrecovery of Internet services is expected to be on 10 September 2009.TM will make further announcements on the progress of the restorationworks.

TM wishes to assure its customers that it is undertaking all necessarymeasures to restore communications services for its customers as soonas possible.

Block of Creation of Guild & Alliance and Duplicated names in Fornax & Gemini

Dear Maplers,

Please note that with effect from 19th August 2009, creation of guild and guild alliance in Fornax & Gemini will be blocked. You will not be able to create guild or guild alliance until 2nd September 2009, Singapore Gateway (Aquila ~ Eridanus) is not affected.

Guild leaders with duplicated guild names in Fornax and Gemini are advised to consider re-naming the affected guild by sending an email to maplesea.custservice@asiasoftsea.net with the subject title: “Changing of guild name”.

In the email, please include the following information:
1. Guild name
2. Guild leader IGN
3. New Guild name

Players whose characters are named using chinese characters will need to send in an email to maplesea.custservice@asiasoftsea.net with the subject title: “Changing of Character Name”

In the email, please include the following information:
1. Maple Login ID
2. Current IGN
3. New preferred IGN

Players whose character’s pet are named using chinese characters will need to send in an email to maplesea.custservice@asiasoftsea.net with the subject title: “Changing of Pet Name”

In the email, please include the following information:
1. Maple Login ID
2. Current Pet IGN
3. New preferred Pet IGN

Terms & Conditions
All guilds & guild alliance that are not changed by v80 patch day will be automatically changed to the generic names, you will still be able to submit new guild or guild alliance names after the patch.

All name changed submitted before 26th August 2009 will be adjusted respectively during the weekly regular server checks. Except for the following:
Character Name Change submitted after 26th August will be credited with Name Change card for player to perform name change on their own.
