利物浦官方续约后防基石 斯科特尔兴奋再战4年

利物浦今天宣布与主力中卫斯科特尔续约2年，能够为红军征战到2014年，斯洛伐克人感到非常兴奋……

尽管目前斯科特尔与俱乐部的合同还剩下2年到期，但为了长久留住这位后防基石，利物浦打算提前与他续约。英国当地时间8月18日上午，利物浦官方宣布与斯科特尔续约2年，意味着红军将拥有这名斯洛伐克国脚直至2014年夏天。

“我感到非常高兴，”刚签下新合同的斯科特尔告诉利物浦官网。“在利物浦我已经度过了三年时光，是的，我很享受这里的一切。我热爱这座城市，热爱这家俱乐部，热爱这里的球迷，所以能够得到新合同让我感到非常兴奋，我会代表利物浦再踢四年。”

2008年1月份，斯科特尔加盟利物浦时的身价仅为600万英镑，不过如今他已经成为了世界顶级中卫，这段心路历程让他颇有感悟。“在我来到利物浦之前，很多人质疑我的能力，认为我不配穿上利物浦的球衣，但我的决心和梦想并没有因此受到影响。”斯科特尔透露。“努力成长的过程是愉快的，我不断尝试踢出最出色的比赛，为俱乐部奉献一切。如今我得到了这份新合同，这是对我的认可，同时也给予了我更多的信心。”

“我会坚持每天努力训练，比赛，我想我还有提高的空间，因为有很多场比赛，我的弱点让我感到很困惑，”他继续说道。“今年俱乐部发生了很大变化，来了新教练以及新队员。目前的气氛很好，我们能够10人应战打平了阿森纳，这是一种精神体现。我认为利物浦会延续这种状态，绝不会接受失败。”

荣誉上，斯科特尔的追求显然要更大。“我知道我们会在新赛季干得很棒，因为我们是利物浦，拥有实力和团队。我想这样的俱乐部理应获得荣誉，而我个人会全力帮助集体拿到英超冠军，希望这赛季就能实现梦想。”斯科特尔最后强调。“每一个人踢球的目标就是冠军，我也不例外，我的队友也同样如此，最高的目标？去赢得一切。”

好奇问一个问题,如果hogson是上个赛季开始执教红军,他会不会把还是自由身的owen带回来,这样就可以做torres的替补,再来Ngog做替补中的替补,就不用吵着买前锋了,只可惜hogson迟来了一年~~

读他名字舌头都打结... 20岁罢了.. 在荷甲Utrecht队... 没有什么盘带因为他是属于van nistelrooy + inzaghi 型的前锋... 特点是射术和跑位好... 看youtube他就常常break offside trap... 好像最近才第一次代表了荷兰国家队...
另外..样子也不错... 够格做红军...

红军签新门将迫走旧人 卡瓦列里将赴意甲升班马

澳大利亚门将琼斯加盟利物浦将迫走卡瓦列里，这是上赛季的红军替补门将可能会租借加盟意甲升班马切塞纳……

利物浦已经完成了230万英镑签下米德尔斯堡门将布拉德-琼斯的转会，《每日邮报》透露，琼斯的加盟将迫使红军原来的替补门将卡瓦列里离队，他将以租借的方式加盟意甲升班马切塞纳，在本赛季结束后，切塞纳可以选择用100万英镑完成卡瓦列里的永久转会。

由于雷纳的存在，卡瓦列里在安菲尔德根本难以获得上阵机会，随着利物浦成功签下琼斯，霍奇森已经准备好放走这位巴西门将，数家巴西俱乐部都对卡瓦列里很感兴趣，他们都有意把这位利物浦门将接回巴西，但是由于财政原因，没有一家巴西俱乐部愿意为卡瓦列里支付转会费，红军并不打算免费放走这位替补门将。

27岁的卡瓦列里也更乐意留在欧洲踢球，来自意大利的消息透露，意甲升班马切塞纳将租借卡瓦列里一个赛季，然后他们有权选择在赛季结束后用100万英镑完成巴西人的永久转会。

利物浦官方网站在周三证实了琼斯加盟的消息，这位28岁的澳大利亚门将已经通过体检并且在红军提供的3年合同上签字，在新赛季，他将成为雷纳的头号替补。这位澳大利亚门将对于能加盟红军感到十分兴奋。

Babel and Diego transfer news

Roy Hodgson today confirmed that Diego Cavalieri looks set to leave Liverpool - but the boss dismissed speculation that Ryan Babel could move.

Goalkeeper Cavalieri will hold talks with Italian side Cesena after our Europa League play-off first leg with Trabzonspor.
His likely departure follows the arrival at Anfield this week of stopper Brad Jones, who was not signed in time to be eligible for Thursday's Europa League clash.
Hodgson told his pre-match press conference: "Diego has done a marvellous job for the last three years.
"He's a very good goalkeeper and a very good person, but he made it clear to me at the start of the season that after three years of watching Pepe play every week he might, if he's not careful, lose his goalkeeping ability or his status as a first-team goalkeeper.
"He made it clear he'd like to leave and find a club where he'll be able to play on a regular basis, so we set about the task of finding someone we thought would be as good a complement to Pepe Reina as Cavalieri has been.
"That's why Brad Jones has come in. He's the man we've chosen to back up Reina, put him under pressure and, most importantly, be ready to play.
"Diego will travel to Cesena after the game tomorrow night for a medical."
The Brazilian's departure would make Jones the recognised number two to Reina, and he is likely to feature regularly if we reach the Europa League proper.
Hodgson added: "We aren't in the Europa League group stage yet but if we were to succeed in doing that there's a chance someone like Brad will get a game on a reasonably regular basis. That would give Pepe the chance he needs to rest. But first we need to get there."
Meanwhile, quizzed on whether rumours linking Babel with a move to Wolfsburg was accurate, Hodgson said: "No, there's none there. I'm afraid we're in the realm of speculation. You know better than I how many stories you're getting every day, and many of them are unfounded and many are attempts from people to get their players in the spotlight.
"We've had no written or formal offers for Ryan Babel and he's a player who I'm expecting to play for us."
With two weeks of the transfer window remaining, the gaffer is not ruling out more activity - and backed up Christian Purslow's suggestion that there could be 'one or two' new faces on top of Jones.
Hodgson said: "The Brad Jones situation has been under control for some time so I think he was talking about adding one or two other players to the squad (on top of that).
"We need 25 players in our squad like everyone else. We need the 25 players to play Premier League, Europa League, FA Cup and Carling Cup. Arguably you wish you had a few more.
"Any player that leaves this club will have to be replaced. We aren't in a situation where we can just let players go without replacing them. That's if they are in our plans for the 25 man squad."
Elsewhere, Hodgson was delighted with news that Martin Skrtel has signed a new contract at Anfield.
He said: "Very good. Everything's looking very positive in that respect at the moment. I've got a very good squad of players. I was fearful I'd lose a few but things are looking so much better. I'm very pleased that the players who've done so well for the club in the past are still here."

No Masch versus Trabzonspor

Javier Mascherano and Daniel Agger will not feature against Trabzonspor on Thursday night after picking up injuries against Arsenal.

Mascherano sustained a pull in his calf while Agger is still suffering from concussion after a ball to the face which has left him with no recollection of Sunday's clash.

Both players now face a race against time to be fit for Monday's match at Manchester City.

Asked by reporters whether Mascherano was in his plans for the Europa League play-off, Roy Hodgson said: "Javier will always be in my plans until the day comes when he leaves the club. And for me that will be a long time in the future if I can get my wish. But he's injured at the moment and won't play tomorrow.

"He came off after about 80 minutes on Sunday with a slight pull in his calf muscles and has only just started to jog today.

"The worry for us is that he won't be fit for Monday.

"Daniel got concussed so he's not doing that well. We're three days after the incident and he's still suffering from concussion and has got no memory of the game.

"We can only hope that it settles down in time for Monday's match with Manchester City. There was never any question he'd be fit for tomorrow.

"He is resting. He was at the club this morning, I was talking to him, but he's not able to do much at the moment because he's suffering from headaches. Even something as simple as reading a newspaper or watching TV can give him a headache so he needs to take it easy. I know how he feels doing all these press conferences!"

Mascherano's absence could open the door for new boy Christian Poulsen to make his Liverpool bow.

Hodgson added: "He's in the squad. I haven't picked the team yet but he's in the squad and there's a chance he'll appear tomorrow.

"We'll only find out when he plays if he's fit. He's only played 20-25 minutes in a friendly match for Juventus. He's done a lot of physical training so in that respect he's right up there with the rest of the players but he hasn't played a lot of football and so is not match fit.

"But he's a quality player. He's been at Schalke, Seville, Juventus and now Liverpool.  The players here are like the ones he's played with in the past and his quality is Liverpool quality."
