Dear xxx.
Thank you for the note of appreciation. While the CC and tutors can provide guidance and assist, it is you, as the student, who takes the credit for the results. If there are any final words that I may add, it is the importance of critical thinking. Please develop this important skill as it will carry you through your career and your life. As tutor Seet/JB mentioned, read a lot (not the entertainment news!) to develop your thinking. I would suggest the business news and international magazines such as Forbes. Relate the concepts learnt to what you see in the real world and vice-versa. For example; is the removal of subsidy reducing the (corporate) social responsibility of the government?

How very kind and thoughtful of you, not only to remember us but also to thank the cc and the tutors, especially AFTER the exams!! Such a note of appreciation from you makes our day, and our effort and sacrifice all the more worthwhile, considering that most of the tutors serve WOU not for money but with the sole purpose of giving back to society and to help students like you fulfil your dream of obtaining a tertiary education.
In fact, if my memory serves me well, in all my 6 semesters at WOU, this is the FIRST POSTING BY A STUDENT THANKING THE CC AND THE TUTORS.
Even though I have not had the pleasure of you in my class, our paths may cross one day in WOU.
So continue to be Determined, Disciplined and Diligent to get that WOU Degree!!! ( Notice the 4Ds??? Not the Magnum one!!!)
