前辈,为什么要drop one's feeling and thoughts呢? If one keeps thinking that feeling and thoughts are bondage, then he has to put in a lot of efforts to drop his thoughts. If one doesn't "think" or "judge" in such way, the bondage will go away effortlessly.
how good can you handle your emotion such as anger and fear with your claim above?

It is really simple but not "EASY"...
Our analytical and intellectual mind is always biased.
In my opinion, by entering into "Silence"and having an "Immovable Heart",immovable by phenomenal illusions, one can feel blissful. But all this is only temporary and fall back to old habits and continue habitual ways of doing things.
I can try another way, by not dwelling in "pure silence" only, but"see"and "analyse" the nature of things with a "silence" and "non-biased" mind. When I realised that things are impermanent, I felt extreme grief and sorrow. The suffering is the result of attachment to things that are impermanent and illusionary. Everything change and unreliable. It is like I have found and kept a few pieces of beautiful of gem stones, they are shining and adorable. However one day I lost them or the stones lost its radiance, I felt very sad. If I know that things are impermanent, I will not feel sad. Why sad?
I am really silly previously and not realising that I have been touching a really hot tea pot. My finger was always hurt due to not knowing that the heat can hurt. As a result, I habitually touching the hot tea pot and hence, hurt myself.
Now knowing that the tea pot is really hot, then I will not touch it anymore.....Never touch it anymore.
