Sebastien Frey (Fiorentina): The Frenchman was in fantastic form as he stopped Giampaolo Pazzini, Antonio Cassano and Daniele Mannini with miraculous saves to give Fiorentina a much needed, confidence-boosting win.
Defence
Maicon (Inter): The Brazilian was immense as he once again proved he is arguably the best right-back in the world. Relentless, he setup Diego Milito’s goal on five minutes to kill off the match when the score was already 1-0. However, that did not stop him from being an influence for the entire 90 minutes.
Lucio (Inter): The Brazilian captain kept the likes of Fabio Quagliarella and Ezequiel Lavezzi quiet for long periods of the match. He capped his performance off with his first goal in a Nerazzurri shirt.
Alessandro Nesta (Milan): The defender is yet again in our Team of the Week. With the Rossoneri down to ten men he remained a rock at the back, snuffing out a number of Udinese’s attacks. He nearly equalised when his effort hit the crossbar. He certainly did not deserve to be on the losing side.
Midfield
Marco Marchionni (Fiorentina): Excellent showing down the right, from where he constantly pushed forward and put in a fantastic cross, finding Stevan Jovetic for the opener.
McDonald Mariga (Parma): He was like a perfect barrier in front of the defence, recovering many loose balls and chasing down Lazio’s attacking forays. The Kenya international has both quantity and quality.

Claudio Marchisio 状态爆升(Juventus): Back from the weekend as well, he was the best on the field in a tightly contested game at the Marassi. He was dominant in the midfield – limiting the usually impressive Alberto Zapater and also contributing going forward, like he did on the first Juventus goal. Definitely bound for the World Cup in South Africa.
Damiano Zenoni (Parma): Like Mariga, he was one of the main reasons the Gialloblu walked away with three points from the Stadio Olimpico, setting up Valeri Bojinov with an inch perfect cross for the striker to volley home.
Attack
Francesco Totti (Roma)罗马队长又回来了，其实我希望他回国家队的: ‘Er Pupone’ is yet another who makes a consecutive appearance in our Best XI. His brilliant moves at the Stadio Renzo Barbera helped his side gain a point. He assisted the opener with a fantastic backheel through-ball and fired home a crucial penalty near the end when the points were on the line.

Fabrizio Miccoli (Palermo)这条水矮矮很可爱: The diminutive striker was involved in all three of his side’s goals, with his own being the pick of the bunch, scoring from an acute angle. One of the most exciting players in Serie A.
Stevan Jovetic (Fiorentina):下一场欧冠对红军，靠他了。 Adrian Mutu’s absences are becoming less of a problem as the teenager continues to blossom. He was a threat all match long and is running into the right spaces, as a striker should.
