若以奧運金牌換來李宗偉的退役，我情愿。

Wan Wah braces for more heartbreak at Putra Stadium
KUALA LUMPUR: The Putra Stadium holds only bitter memories for national men’s doubles shuttler Lee Wan Wah.
The stadium is fast proving to be his 'bogey venue’ as he has yet to emerge triumphant after competing in two major tournaments there.
And it is unlikely that his luck would change when he gets into action with his partner Choong Tan Fook in the Malaysian Open at the venue beginning on Wednesday.
With Wan Wah only making a comeback after suffering a hamstring tear during the China Open last month, it is unlikely that he will go all the way to win his second home title.

Wan Wah admitted that he has not had any joy for Malaysia at the Putra Stadium so far, with Malaysia not faring well in the 2000 Thomas Cup Finals and the last year’s World Championships.
“Tan Fook and I won all our matches except for the tie against South Korea in the Thomas Cup Finals eight years ago at Putra but Malaysia eventually failed to make it to the semi-finals.
That was disappointing,” he said. “At the world meet, although we beat the defending champions, but we eventually lost in the semi-finals (to earn a bronze medal).”
In the world meet, Wan Wah-Tan Fook were Malaysia’s top performers.
The duo upset defending champions Cai Yun-Fu Haifeng of China but fell to Indonesians Markis Kido-Hendra Setiawan in the last four.
For the Malaysian Open, Wan Wah said he would consider it as an accomplishment if they could reach the quarter-finals.
Drawn in his same quarter are Denmark’s Lars Paaske-Jonas Rasmussen and team-mates Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong, the top seeds, and Ong Soon Hock-Tan Bin Shen.
“I got back to training only two weeks ago. I am not at my best yet. So even a quarter-final finish will be a good start for me this year,” said Wan Wah.
Although the Putra Stadium has proved to be a bane for him, Wan Wah expects it to be a boon for his team-mates.
He said that based on the players’ form in training, Kien Keat-Boon Heong seem to be on the right track to defend their men’s doubles crown.
“Except for me, the others in the team have improved a lot. Koo and Tan, especially, have a good shot at winning the title again,” he added.
