CLEVELAND(AP) LeBron James calls the fourth quarter "winning time.'' The Cleveland Cavaliers superstar proved that yet again Saturday night. James scored 16 of his 38 points in the final period, leading a second-half rally that gave the Cavaliers their seventh straight victory, 105-93 over the short-handed Utah Jazz. "That's when games are decided,'' said James, who was 6-of-10 from the field in the final 12 minutes. "Especially when it's a close game and tonight was a close game.'' From the Cavaliers' standpoint, it was a lot closer than expected. The Jazz, in the finale of a five-game Eastern trip, were without starters Deron Williams and Mehmet Okur, and top reserves Andrei Kirilenko and Matt Harpring. Despite those obstacles, Utah shot 53 percent in the first half and built a 62-52 lead early in the third quarter. Cleveland, which is 8-2 overall and 6-0 at home, tied the game at 69 later in the quarter on Delonte West's 3-pointer and finally took the lead for good, 76-74, on James' two free throws with 30 seconds left in the period. That marked the Cavaliers' first lead since they were up 25-23 with 10:59 left in the second period. Carlos Boozer, who led Utah with 17 points, is familiar with James' ability. He played his first two seasons with the Cavaliers before signing with the Jazz in 2004. "In the fourth quarter, he just hit shot after shot,'' Boozer said. "He made his free throws and every jump shot he took stuck.'' James' two free throws with 30 seconds left in the third put Cleveland ahead 76-74. He scored 21 points in the second half and was 13-of-21 from the field. James had five rebounds and seven assists. Jazz coach Jerry Sloan refused to use the fact his team was so short-handed as an excuse. In fact, he admitted his younger players were intimidated by James' presence. "We didn't even get close enough to guard him at times,'' Sloan said. "You have to compete against the guy. If you say, 'I'm not going to touch him,' you'll be saying that 20 years from now. You might as well get an autograph and go home.''

《犹他新闻》报道，爵士主力中锋梅米特-奥库在处理完家中的事情后，已经从土耳其启程返回盐湖城。


一周之前，奥库突然离队返回土耳其，当时爵士对媒体表示，奥库家中有事需要他赶回去。但是两天之后，各大媒体的猜测迫使球队出面澄清，奥库回家是为了看望身患重病的父亲阿卜杜拉。


主力中锋的回归对近来战绩糟糕的爵士来说无疑非常及时。在德隆-威廉姆斯、奥库、基里连科先后高挂免战牌之后，球队实力严重受损，上周更是惨遭三连败。而奥库离队之前场均可以为球队贡献15.5分6.5个篮板1.5次助攻，投篮命中率高达50.7%。不过由于旅途劳顿，奥库将不会在爵士与太阳的比赛中出场，杰里-斯隆表示，将会用老将贾伦-柯林斯顶替此前表现不佳的新秀科斯塔-库佛斯出任首发中锋。


除了奥库继续缺阵之外，德隆也由于伤势未愈将不会出现在与太阳的比赛中。不过，球队的“超级第六人”基里连科将在缺阵两场之后重新回到赛场。

SALT LAKE CITY(AP) Carlos Boozer had 21 points and 15 rebounds, Andrei Kirilenko added 19 points and two big blocks in the fourth quarter, and the Utah Jazz snapped a three-game losing streak by beating the Phoenix Suns 109-97 Monday night. C.J. Miles scored a season-high 21 points and Brevin Knight had six assists and 12 points, going 6-for-7 from the floor as the Jazz got the Suns in foul trouble and pulled away in the second half. Steve Nash and Shaquille O'Neal both drew their fourth fouls early in the third quarter, then the Suns couldn't shoot early in the fourth as Utah scored 13 straight during one stretch. Amare Stoudemire led Phoenix with 30 points and eight rebounds. Nash had 14 points and eight assists, but O'Neal finished with just nine points and one rebound. O'Neal had back-to-back shots blocked by Kirilenko during Phoenix's slump in the fourth quarter. The Jazz outrebounded Phoenix 47-26, getting seven boards from Kirilenko. Kirilenko had missed the last two games with a dislocated finger, but returned to his new role as Utah's sixth man and flourished again. He went 5-for-10 from the floor and made all eight of his foul shots, then topped off Utah's homecoming by swatting away two shots by O'Neal in the lane with about 5 minutes left. The Jazz were playing without starters Deron Williams and Mehmet Okur, but stayed unbeaten at home after going 1-4 on a five-game road trip. The Suns had won four of five but made it hard on themselves by sending the Jazz to the line 36 times. Utah made 26 free throws and took advantage after Nash went to the bench with his fifth foul with 5:06 still left in the third.

爵士结束三连败，德隆-威廉姆斯和梅米特-奥库继续缺阵，安德烈-基里连科复出，替补出场得到19分和7个篮板。卡洛斯-布泽尔得到21分和15个篮板，CJ-迈尔斯贡献21分，布鲁文-奈特得到12分和6次助攻，保罗-米尔萨普贡献11分和9个篮板，凯利-科沃尔得到11分。


太阳两连胜结束，阿玛雷-斯塔德迈尔得到30分和8个篮板，马特-巴恩斯复出贡献19分和5个篮板，史蒂夫-纳什得到14分和8次助攻，沙克-奥尼尔11投3中只得9分和1个篮板。

SALT LAKE CITY(AP) Once they saw the Milwaukee Bucks were getting tired, C.J. Miles and the Utah Jazz really put on the pressure. "Coach (Jerry Sloan) wanted us to run and be aggressive late in the game. They started getting on their heels and we took it to them,'' said Miles, who scored a season-high 25 points in Utah's 104-94 victory over Milwaukee on Wednesday night. Ronnie Price played the entire second half and scored 10 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter when the Jazz outscored the Bucks 31-18. "Coach told us to pick it up, push the ball up the court and make some plays on defense,'' Price said. Carlos Boozer added 20 points and 11 rebounds before leaving because of a strained left quadriceps that wasn't expected to sideline him long. "It's good to keep winning, but we need to stop losing people. We won, but if we keep losing people that's not good,'' Andrei Kirilenko said. Kirilenko, who played point guard at times for the depleted Jazz, had 16 points, seven rebounds, five steals and four blocks to help the Jazz stay undefeated at home and extend their mastery of the Bucks to eight straight games. "That second group with Andrei and those guys got us going again and got us the lead with hustle plays,'' Sloan said. "We tried to do a better job defensively and that s what we had to do to finish the ballgame with a win.'' Richard Jefferson scored 25 points, and Andrew Bogut had 16 points and 20 rebounds for Milwaukee, coming off a loss in Denver on Tuesday night. Charlie Bell and Ramon Sessions had 15 points each for Milwaukee. "We had our opportunities to come in here and win,'' Jefferson said. "We were up 10 in the second half and set the tone. We just didn't finish the job.'' Milwaukee led by 10 in the third quarter before the Jazz began outrunning the weary Bucks. With Sloan urging them to run at every opportunity, the Jazz took their first lead of the second half on Price's driving layup that made it 80-78. "We were up 10 and just relaxed and kind of stopped playing for a couple minutes and allowed them to get back in the game,'' Milwaukee coach Scott Skiles said. "Then we just looked flat-out worn out in the fourth quarter.''

But Mason was the one drawing the compliments Friday night. Mason scored 29 points and the Spurs made 15 of 25 3-pointers to beat the Utah Jazz 119-94. "I wasn't going to go too crazy, but it was one of those nights,'' Mason said. "Definitely felt good. If I had an open look, I was mad if I missed one.'' Playing without the backcourt of Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili, the Spurs still managed to hit eight of their first nine 3-point attempts. Mason, starting in place of Parker at point guard, went 10-of-17 from the floor and was 7-of-10 on 3-pointers. He barely missed his career high of 32 points scored last season with Washington when he started in place of the injured Gilbert Arenas. "I think when we get everyone back, (Mason) will give us the depth we've been looking for,'' Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. "I thought he was excellent at both ends tonight. He took advantage of offensive situations and played a really fine all-around game.'' Rookie George Hill scored a career-high 23 points for San Antonio (6-6), which has won four of five. Tim Duncan added 18 points, seven rebounds and four assists in 27 minutes. Utah (8-5) got 17 points from Ronnie Brewer and 16 from CJ Miles, but the Jazz were without forward Carlos Boozer for the first time this season after he strained his left quadriceps Wednesday against Milwaukee. Jazz point guard Deron Williams missed his 11th game due to his left ankle sprain. The Jazz also went without forward Jarron Collins (inflamed right elbow) and Kyle Korver (inflamed right wrist). Mehmet Okur had a season-high 23 points, leading the Jazz to a 103-94 victory over Memphis on Saturday night. The Jazz were without guard Deron Williams, leading scorer and rebounder Carlos Boozer and key reserve Kyle Korver, but still managed to overcome the offensive loss with a strong defense effort. Utah forced 20 Memphis turnovers and left the Grizzlies shooting 47 percent, and only 4-of-14 from 3-point range. "Utah has been doing this for quite a long time,'' Memphis coach Marc Iavaroni said. "We are trying to establish toughness and discipline ethic, and it does take time. I think we have learned a lot from them. You have to play every possession with your toughness shoes on, mentally and physically.'' Okur was 9-of-15 from the field, including missing only one of his five shots from 3-point range, as the Jazz won the sixth straight game in the series. Ronnie Brewer, who was 10-of-14 from the floor, added 21 points, matching his career high. Morris Almond had 11, and Ronnie Price 10. The Jazz shot 55 percent, including 54 percent from 3-point range. Williams missed his 12th game because of a sprained ankle, while Boozer sat out with a strained left quadriceps, and Korver was sidelined by an inflamed right wrist. 爵士主场六连胜结束，本赛季主场首尝败绩。奥库得到26分和9个篮板，米尔萨普贡献21分和10个篮板，布鲁尔得到18分，CJ-迈尔斯得到12分，普莱斯得到11分和8次助攻，德隆-威廉姆斯和布泽尔缺阵。


公牛结束客场对爵士的三连败，拉里-休斯送出绝杀，全场贡献16分。状元德里克-罗斯第四节拿下10分，全场贡献25分和9次助攻。德鲁-古登得到18分，本-戈登得到15分。


昨天公牛在客场输给了掘金，但是他们的开局打得还是不错，只是在末节中段崩盘输掉比赛。本场比赛虽然爵士取得10-5的开局，但公牛迅速打出了反击。在首节还剩7分45秒时，爵士还以14-10领先。但在之后的4分多钟里，公牛只让爵士投中1球，罗斯3次进攻得手，并送出2次助攻，带领公牛打出16-2的进攻高潮，将比分反超为26-16。不过在本节剩余时间里，公牛的命中率下降，爵士打出10-2的冲击，在本节结束时，将比分追成26-28。本节公牛的五位首发球员都得分，而且得分都在4分以上。


第二节爵士命中率下降，公牛趁机将比分拉开。在本节前3分半钟里，古登连投带罚拿下7分，帮助公牛将比分拉开到35-30。本节中段两队进攻成功率都不高，但是在本节还剩4分51秒时，罗斯命中三分，公牛还是将领先优势扩大到了9分。此后爵士主力出场，奥库连投带罚拿下6分，率爵士完成10-2的冲击，将比分追成43-44。不过在本节最后2分钟里，罗斯再度爆发得到4分并送出1次助攻，帮助公牛在上半场结束时，又将比分拉开到53-45。


防守是爵士取胜的主要因素，在本场比赛之前，当他们让对手得分低于100分时，他们的战绩是9胜1负，而高于100分时是0胜4负。第三节爵士终于找回了防守，让公牛只得了21分。而防守一直是公牛的软肋，本节爵士20投14中，命中率高达70%。在本节还剩10分22秒时，公牛57-49保持领先。之后奥库和米尔萨普联手拿下9分，爵士完成13-2的波，将比分反超为62-59。本节结束时，爵士75-72仍领先3分。


第四节风云突变，爵士在本节前3分45秒里1分未得，格雷连得4分帮助公牛将比分反超。在比赛还剩5分37秒时，罗斯罚中2球，公牛已经将比分拉开到87-81。但此后米尔萨普连得4分，普莱斯跳投得手后，在比赛还剩3分52秒时，爵士又将比分追成87平。比赛进入白热化，在比赛还剩23.9秒时，罗斯跳投命中，公牛取得99-98的领先。此后迈尔斯上篮帮助爵士反超，但休斯压哨跳投得手，公牛完成绝杀。

再度复出的威廉姆斯状态果然神勇，虽然全场出战29分钟9投4中只得到11分，但他的15次助攻的表现已经证明他足以和克里斯-保罗，史蒂夫-纳什并列联盟的最出色的三大后卫之一。在威廉姆斯的引领下爵士队六人得分上双，兵不血刃的就轻松击败了孟菲斯灰熊队。

第三节大肆狂杀.... 主场再胜....明天有得看球了...因为易建联....所以中国有得直播了...谢谢他....
今天爵士队有八人得分超过双位数...Korver也复出了....


尽管缺少了内线核心布泽尔，但是犹他爵士还是在主场120-94轻松战胜萨克拉门托国王。四节比分分别为23-29，27-21，17-44，27-26（爵士在后）。




　　双方在下半场难分伯仲战成了50平，第三节爵士单节打出44-17一举奠定了胜势，此役爵士8人得分上双。奥库三分球4投3中拿下全队最高的20分12个篮板，德隆-威廉姆斯13分15次助攻，迈尔斯和布鲁尔各贡献18分。三名替补基里连科、科沃尔、罗尼-普莱斯各贡献12分。国王方面，萨尔蒙斯15投9中拿下20分，替补中锋霍伊斯18分6篮板，汤普森11投8中拿下16分。

　　布拉德-米勒和奥库跳球后，球落到了国王后卫乌德里手中，他用一记跳投为国王先拿两分，德隆-威廉姆斯马上用中投命中作为回应。爵士开场以8-4领先，国王前锋萨尔蒙斯一记中投一记扣篮帮助国王将比分扳平。此后爵士利用奥库和德隆-威廉姆斯三个三分球将比分改写为19-12。国王队立即加强了防守，萨尔蒙斯抢断德隆-威廉姆斯后扣篮得分将分差缩小为3分，随后罗尼-普莱斯命中三分再次拉开比分。第一节结束，爵士29-23领先国王。

　　第二节一开始奥库的中投让分差继续扩大，萨尔蒙斯命中三分后摩尔也上篮得手，国王将比分追成32-35迫使爵士叫停。暂停过后，科沃尔命中三分稳住了场上的局势，随后乌德里的三分球将分差缩小为两分，德隆-威廉姆斯马上用三分球作为回应。半场结束前，国王前锋萨尔蒙斯连拿4分帮助国王扳平了比分。半场结束爵士和国王战成50平。

　　第三节奥库上来连拿7分，爵士打出13-0高潮后将比分改写为63-50。离第三节结束还有7分50秒时，国王才由乌德里拿下两分。打疯了的爵士又罗尼-布鲁尔和米尔萨普、德隆-威廉姆斯轮番冲击国王内线，分差一步步奔20分而去。离第三节结束还有2分多钟，C.J.迈尔斯突入禁区暴扣得手，爵士82-62领先国王20分。随后爵士仍然不依不饶，C.J.迈尔斯和布鲁尔连续得分，第三节结束爵士94-67领先国王。

　　第四节爵士替补一上来就将分差拉大到30分以上，比赛正式进入垃圾时间。尽管国王替补仍然非常努力缩小分差，但是过大的分差还是让他们输掉了比赛。最终爵士120-94大比分战胜国王。

篮网客场挑战主场强龙爵士，结果令人意外的以105-88大胜，将成绩提升到了8胜7负。阿联全场9投4中贡献11分5篮板，表现尚可。

哈里斯17投13中独得34分6助攻，卡特22分5篮板，海耶斯11分5篮板，西蒙斯10分。爵士方面米尔萨普20分10篮板，迈尔斯16分，科沃尔11分，奥库10分11篮板，德隆10分13助攻。

篮网首节不落下风

比赛开始后爵士先发制人连得4分，不过阿联很快接西蒙斯助攻篮下暴扣得手，篮网在卡特和哈里斯的带领下逐渐扭转局势，阿联也连续抢到防守篮板。卡特的突破上篮得手帮助篮网以9-8反超，阿联表现同样十分活跃，他在篮下造成奥库犯规并两罚全中，11-8。不过他很快因防守中过于积极付出代价，在尝试封盖米尔萨普时被吹犯规，无奈累积两犯下场。双方随后在场上展开拉锯战，比分也交替上升。迈尔斯在首节还剩3分24秒时的突破爆扣帮助爵士将比分变成19-20，但篮网随即打出一波8-3，海耶斯急停跳投命中帮助篮网以28-22领先。然而客队晚节不保，爵士还以一波7-0的反击，米尔萨普的扣篮帮助球队以29-28领先1分结束首节。

SACRAMENTO, Calif.(AP) Deron Williams used his limited playing time to make a major contribution for Utah. Williams made two key baskets in the final 1:05 and Kyle Korver scored 15 points, leading the Jazz to a 99-94 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night. After Beno Udrih scored to put the Kings ahead by one, Williams responded with a driving layup to give Utah the lead for good with just over a minute to play. Williams, who had 14 points and seven assists, made a jumper on the next possession, putting Utah ahead 93-90. The Jazz then made six free throws in the final 13 seconds to secure the victory, their third in four games. "The fourth quarter was great for my confidence,'' said Williams, who had two first-half points and is still bothered by a sore left ankle that caused him to miss seven games earlier this year. "I've got to start games being aggressive and play my game.'' In the fourth quarter, Williams made both field-goal attempts, converted two free throws attempts and had three assists for Utah, which outscored Sacramento 35-28 in the period. Ronnie Brewer scored 14 points and Paul Milsap had 13 points and 11 rebounds, and Morris Almond added 13 points for the Jazz, who committed a season-high 25 turnovers, including 18 in the first half. "Most times when you have 18 turnovers at the half you aren't going to win,'' Korver said. "In the first half we couldn't score at all, it was rough.'' Trailing by five points after Kings guard Bobby Brown opened the fourth quarter with a 3-pointer, the Jazz went on a 13-2 run to take a 77-71 lead with 7:16 left. Kevin Martin helped bring the Kings back, making consecutive 3-pointers in cutting the lead to 79-77. Martin had 22 points for Sacramento, which lost its seventh straight and 10th in 11. The Kings have dropped seven consecutive games at Arco Arena for the first time since the 1993-94 season and are one loss away from tying the franchise record.
