Animation Theme Park Sdn Bhd is the developer of Movie Animation Park Studios (MAPS),
Asia’s 1st animation theme park located in Ipoh, Perak.
It is a joint venture between PCB Development and Sanderson Group.
PCB Development is a wholly owned subsidiary of Perak Corporation and is responsible for developing the Bandar Meru Raya City in Ipoh, Perak.
Sanderson Group is Australia’s first integrated thematic construction company specializing in designing and constructing theme parks and entertainment destinations in Asia Pacific with an unmatchable portfolio of 25 years of innovation in turnkey solutions.

PERAK Corporation Bhd (PCB) is now the majority shareholder in Animation Theme Park Sdn Bhd (ATP). A PCB spokesman said it now owns a 51% shareholding in ATP through its wholly owned subsidiary PCB Development Sdn Bhd with its partner RSG MAPS Sdn Bhd having relinquished the majority shareholding position effective April 8. PCB, a listed subsidiary of Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak, gained control of the majority shareholding through the additional subscription of 2% of the enlarged equity of ATP, the developer and operator of Movie Animation Park Studios (MAPS) in Bandar Meru Raya.
The theme park occupies some 21ha of land, with a total committed investment to-date of almost RM520mil.
