She 【cleaned not only】 the living room but also the bedrooms.
Not only 和 but also 的位置，前后必须一致，如 not only 在动词前，but also 也在动词前；not only 在名词前，but only 也在名词前；此句的问题是：not only在动词前但but also在名词前；把not only移到the living room前就可以了。
参考更多例子：
She 【not only cleaned】 the house 【but also did】 the cooking.
He painted 【not only the gate】 【but also the fence】.

I am having/eating dinner.
不要 a
breakfast，lunch，dinner 等这几个词比较奇葩，
单独使用时是不可数名词：
She is having lunch.
They are eating breakfast.
I am having dinner.
可是加上形容词时就变成可数名词：
I had a light breakfast.
The walk is expected to last all day so bring a packed lunch.
After a hearty breakfast we set out for a hike.

简单来说，一个句子不可以同时出现2个动词，若是一起出现，一定是复合式句子之类的或是有其他的方式做限制(例如时态、to+ 动词... ）。
例子：
I am going to eat （这里的动词只有 am)
It was raining when they came （这里的动词是 was)
They eat and drink all day long (复句 所以ok， eat 和 drink 都是动词）
She was away from home when the accident happened. (复句, was + happened）
She dances while he sings. (复句）
请其它老师、高手指点一下吧，我文法说明不太清晰
