Search for Missing MAS Airliner Goes On. Updated
SHAH ALAM: Search for the missing Malaysia Airlines B777 Flight MH-370 goes on as off 8pm tonight Malaysian time – some 12 hours after it was reported missing. As off 2pm March 9, 2014, 22 aircraft and 40 ships – local and foreign – are involved in the operations and at least six RMN and MMEA ships have also been dispatched to the area where the aircraft was last reported.

The Star Online reported that the area of search for MH370, which disappeared from the radar screens at 1.30am Saturday, has been expanded from the point of its last contact, said Prime Minster Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. 
RMAF aircraft involved in MH370 SAR
The MAS flight was carrying 239 passengers from 15 countries when it disappeared from the radar off the Vietnam coast at 1.30am on Saturday after taking off at 12.41am from the KL International Airport enroute to Beijing.
Najib also said the Vietnamese, Chinese, Singapore and American governments were also helping out with the search operations. – Malaysian Defence
