Working experience and occupation	Upon graduation in 1970, he joined Bank Negara Malaysia as an Assistant Economist. He moved on to Bank Bumiputra Malaysia Bhd (“BBMB”) in 1973 and remained there until 1988. He then joined and assumed his present position in January 1995 as the Managing Director of Tunas Selatan Construction Sdn. Bhd., a construction company which has since successfully completed several major projects including a Government Turnkey contract to design and build the new Sungai Buloh Hospital Complex with 620 beds and College of Allied Health Sciences for 3000 trainees, the UITM Clinical Training Center and its Institute of medical Molecular Biotechnology also in Sungai Buloh, and the sub-contractor for the first phase of University Malaysia Pahang in Kuantan. He has been the Chairman of Associated Air-Pak Industries Sdn. Bhd. (a company producing packaging and construction materials) and its group of companies since 1997. He was appointed to the Boards of Merbok Hilir Berhad and Merbok MDF Sdn. Bhd., a group involved in the production and export of rubberwood MDF panelboards since their inception in 1993.

ARK has given notice to Pacific Trustees Berhad ("the Trustee") that ARK will not be redeeming the RCSLS within the redemption period which expired on 29 July 2015. Pursuant to Schedule 1, Part III, Paragraph 3.5 of the Trust Deed between ARK and the Trustee dated 18 May 2011, in the event ARK decide not to redeem the amount of RCSLS as per paragraph 3.1 of the Trust Deed, the shortfall in the RCSLS that is not redeemed shall be complusorily converted into new ARK's Shares. 高峰回落‧ARK資源需時扭轉乾坤

ARK資源（ARK，7007，主板建築組）的前身為大地建築（Lankhorst），前掌舵人的願望是“大地建築，遍大地”，並祈願與2020年國家宏願一同攜手邁入高收入國時代，沒想到宏願尚未達成，公司不但易了名，就連股東也換人當。

大地建築1997年上市無限風光

大地建築在1997年7月29日上市時，無限風光，每股售價4令吉50仙，在上市當天開門紅，股價一度飆升至12令吉50仙，最後閉市掛12令吉10仙，溢價達169%。

大地建築原本是由荷蘭人經營的公司，較後，由土著取得控股權，由土著企業家阿茲蘭阿旺和阿都茲士掌舵，兩人對於當時由華裔主導的建築領域雄心萬丈，希望進入市場分一杯羹。
大地建築主要業務是進行土地和地質工程以及建築，後來業務更拓展至印尼、新加坡、汶萊和東馬的砂拉越。

公司在1992年以前，曾經面對淨虧損達104萬2千令吉，在兩位大股東，即該公司董事經理阿茲蘭阿旺和執行董事阿都茲士不斷努力經營下，扭轉乾坤，在上市前的1992至1997年期間，連續取得5年的盈利增長。

該公司在上市初期，手上已握有逾7億令吉的地質與土地和建築合約，上市後就摩拳擦掌，準備進軍國外基建領域市場。大地建築在上市後，發展可謂平步青雲，接連發出利好消息，甚至接獲多個來自國內外及政府部門的項目，合約數額達數十億令吉不等。

該公司在2000年時，淨利已達到1千285萬6千令吉，惟當所有人看好這家管理層擁有25年經驗，客戶主要來自政府相關機構的公司能夠成為當時建築領域的領頭羊時，大地建築卻在上市逾四年後的2001年，面對合約減少的窘境，公司盈利開始逐年減少，甚至出現連續5年的淨虧損，虧損數額甚至高達上億令吉。

雪上加霜的是一直與阿茲蘭阿旺是好搭檔，並肩作戰多年的阿都茲士在2001年杪公司面對難關時，提出呈辭，辭去執行董事一職。

此後，公司業績更是一落千丈，截至2003年3月31日，公司應收賬項高達8千213萬令吉，過多的呆賬，導致公司資金周轉不靈，更使公司股價大幅下挫，2004年初跌至95.5仙，在7月更下跌至46仙。

2005年公司改名
管理層改朝換代

阿茲蘭阿旺也在2005年3月，辭去由1997年即開始擔任的董事經理一職；由阿茲蘭阿旺和阿都茲士領軍的大地建築也告一段落，並在2006年正式步入歷史，曾經風光的大地建築，最終黯然落幕，易名為ARK資源，而“大地建築，遍大地”的夢想始終沒有實現。

在兩人接連退下後，拉昔迪及拿督莫哈末沙烈則成為ARK資源的大股東，在往後數年，該公司出現不少爭議，以致被投資者認為是一家問題公司；公司除了面對融資阻力，還因為沒有準時提交季度審核帳目及子公司被清盤，沒有立即通過大馬交易所公佈，多次遭到交易所公開譴責及罰款。

較後，在2006年，審核師對其2004年12月31日止財政年常年審核財報作出特別聲明，該公司也正式列為PN17陷困公司。

從此，ARK資源陷入低潮期，營業額及淨利一年不如一年，截至2005年淨虧損達1億零406萬4千288令吉，營業額猛挫42%；2006年7月，訂單甚至少過1億令吉。

2011年脫困

雖然公司連連虧損，該公司的董事經理拉昔迪依然不放棄，想要盡力挽回補救。情況在2009年開始好轉，公司不斷競標各項建築工程，改善營業額。在經過逾5年的努力後，公司重組債務，終於在2011年11月脫離PN17的行列。

由當時開始，公司出現曙光，而在今年，公司截至2015年9月30日止的營業額已達1千439萬7千令吉，盈利則達103萬6千令吉。
