Description	Zetrix AI Berhad (formerly known as "MY E.G. Services Berhad") - Digital Bank Guarantee ("e-Bank Guarantee")
The Board of Directors (“Board”) of Zetrix AI Berhad (formerly known as MY E.G. Services Berhad) (“Zetrix” or “the Company”) wishes to inform that the Company has received a notification letter from Ministry of Finance (“MOF”) dated 15 August 2025 in relation to its proposed implementation and utilization of digital bank guarantees (“e-Bank Guarantee”) on Zetrix layer-1 blockchain. MOF has taken note of Zetrix’s initiative as a third-party platform provider to financial institutions to provide an end-to-end solution for digital bank guarantees encompassing the issuance, amendments and claims on bank guarantees. In this respect, financial institutions may implement the e-Bank Guarantee in accordance with their respective requirements. There is presently no restriction under the existing regulatory framework for such implementation. Nevertheless, the financial institutions are required to manage their own risk and to comply with applicable regulations under the Financial Institution Act at all times. MOF will consider accepting e-Bank Guarantee for its own procurement requirements once implementation by Zetrix and the financial institutions is completed. The Board is of the view that this initiative reflects a positive step towards the digitalisation of various financial instruments and presents a significant market opportunity for the Company. The Company will make further announcement(s) as and when there are material developments on this matter. This announcement is dated 19 August 2025.
