Type | Announcement | Subject | OTHERS | Description | Positive Development relating to the Extension of a Production Sharing Contract | The Board of Hibiscus Petroleum Berhad ("Hibiscus") is pleased to announce that there has been a positive development relating to an extension of an expiration date of one of its Production Sharing Contracts.
An announcement providing further details in relation to this extension will be made once clearance has been obtained from the relevant authorities.
In tandem with this positive development, to reward Hibiscus’ loyal shareholders, the Board of Directors is pleased to declare a third single-tier interim dividend of 2.0 sen per ordinary share, which will be payable on 2 May 2025. Subsequent to this third single-tier dividend, a total of 7.0 sen has been declared for the financial year ending 30 June 2025 (“FY2025”), i.e. on 19 November 2024, 25 February 2025 and 13 March 2025. The Company remains on track to deliver the minimum dividend guidance of between 8.0 to 10.0 sen (based on Brent oil price of USD70/barrel to USD80/barrel) for FY2025.
The dividend of 7.0 sen declared to-date represents a dividend yield of 5.1% based on the closing price of RM1.37 on 12 March 2025. The total dividends declared as of 13 March 2024 for the financial year ended 30 June 2024 was 4.0 sen.
