Longman/command:
4 command of something
knowledge of something, especially a language, or ability to use something
(have a) good/excellent/poor etc command of something

Oxford/command:
2 [in singular] the ability to use or control something:
he had a brilliant command of English

Cambridge/command:
[S or U] a great knowledge of a subject and an ability to use that knowledge
She has an impressive command of the English language.

显然比较惯用的是 a(n) xxxx command of ...
但Cambridge：[S or U] 暗示command 当做不可数名词使用也没错

如果是这样真的很怪，为什么要这样限制？这让我想起一本马来语语法书，上面提到被动式（di 什么什么的）不能用在第一人称，既不可说 saya dixxx... ，当场“显”到把学好马来文的计划又挪后了好几年，到现在都还不知道被动式是否可以用在第一人称.....

另外又想到一个“假厉害”的事件，我教学生疑问句教到 do I... am I... have I... 之类的句子，回去让他的阿姨看到作业，那个假厉害阿姨当场发飙，大概骂什么“这个老师英文超烂，哪里可以这样问自己的？哪有人问自己的？”......由于她在新加坡工作，可能她身边的人都认定她的英语很好，孩子的妈妈应该是相信了她，上多几课不久就没再出现了。

是吗？我也不知道马来文saya不能di的。那个假厉害的阿姨真的是，英文应该也不会好到哪里去吧，充其量也只会说broken English然后就觉得自己很厉害，开始批评人家的英文错了...
至于英文方面我不肯定是不是真的，不过从今天开始我会留意看看老外会不会这样说。

哈哈。。。有啊，不过应该很久前吧，2009或2010时吧，在你的“我错你改1”那～... 只是出现的时间不长，然后又消失了～

题外话
应该说，马来文的被动式句子里，第一人称和第二人称(saya, aku, kami, kita, kamu, engkau, awak, anda etc) 不能够用 "di+动词"的方式。
原句：Saya/awak/dia/Ali mesti menyiapkan kerja itu esok.
Kerja itu mesti disiapkan oleh saya/awak esok. (X)
Kerja itu mesti saya/awak siapkan esok. (O)
Kerja itu mesti disiapkan oleh dia/mereka/Ali esok. (O)

Saya dixxx 是可以的，只要那个动作主体不是第一/二人称。
比方说
Saya dipukul oleh pekerja KFC.
Awak akan dipukul jika awak membuat bising di KFC.
