Description	DISTRIBUTION TARIFF FOR GAS MALAYSIA DISTRIBUTION SDN. BHD. IN PENINSULAR MALAYSIA
Gas Malaysia Berhad (“Gas Malaysia” or “the Company”) wishes to inform that Gas Malaysia’s wholly owned subsidiary, Gas Malaysia Distribution Sdn. Bhd. (“GMD”) will implement an adjustment to its Base Average Tariff at the rate of RM 0.005/GJ/day through a rebate for the period from 1 January 2025 until 31 December 2025. Therefore, GMD’s Allowed Average Tariff under the IBR framework for all types of utilisations is RM1.568/GJ/day for the period from 1 January 2025 until 31 December 2025. Gas Malaysia wishes to clarify that the tariff approval is not applicable to the sales of liquefied petroleum gas supplied in gas cylinder or in bulk supply. The distribution tariff will continue to contribute positive returns from the regulated segment of the Company for the financial year ending 31 December 2025. Description	IN RESPONSE TO THE REPORTED FIRE INCIDENT AT PUTRA HEIGHTS, SUBANG JAYA, SELANGOR
Gas Malaysia Berhad (“Gas Malaysia” or “the Company”) wishes to update regarding the fire incident that occurred at about 8.10 a.m on 1 April 2025, at Putra Heights, Subang Jaya involving Interconnected Klang Valley Distribution Network operated by PETRONAS Gas Berhad. The Company wishes to inform that its gas pipeline network and gas facilities remain secured, with all necessary precautions implemented to uphold the highest standards of safety and integrity. As of now, Gas Malaysia has been informed by our supplier that certain gas facilities in the affected area are temporarily closed. It is anticipated that curtailment of gas supply to certain areas within the Klang Valley region will be implemented and potentially impacting our customers. The extent of the impact is still being assessed and we are in constant communication with relevant shippers and our direct customers. The Company is also assessing the financial impact on the Company and will make the necessary announcement once determined. This announcement is dated 1 April 2025.

Following our announcement on 1 April 2025, Gas Malaysia Berhad (“Gas Malaysia” or “the Group”) wishes to update subsequent to the fire incident reported at the Putra Heights, Subang Jaya involving Interconnected Klang Valley Distribution Network operated by PETRONAS Gas Berhad,  a gas supply curtailment has been implemented, affecting several Gas Malaysia’s customers in Shah Alam, Kundang, Petaling Jaya, Teluk Panglima Garang, Pelabuhan Klang, Pulau Indah and other areas. The affected customers have been earlier notified, and the Group will continue to provide them with updates on the progress of the situation. Gas Malaysia recognises the challenges faced by its customers and remains committed in engaging with other relevant stakeholders such as gas supplier and authorities, while actively working towards minimising disruption. Safety and operational integrity remain Gas Malaysia’s top priority, and the Group has mobilised the necessary resources to closely monitor the situation. Based on the latest information, the incident is not expected to have a material effect on the Group’s earnings for the financial year ending 2025. This announcement is dated 2 April 2025.

Further to the Company’s previous announcement on the gas supply curtailment in relation to the transmission gas pipeline fire incident at Putra Heights, Subang Jaya, Selangor, Gas Malaysia Berhad (“Gas Malaysia” or “the Group”) wishes to provide its latest update. With the announcement by PETRONAS Gas Berhad (“PGB”) on additional gas supply secured by its shipper via the Trans Thailand-Malaysia gas pipeline system, supply to Gas Malaysia’s customers in the Northern region including Bestari Jaya, Meru, and parts of the Klang Valley has stabilized. Concurrently, PGB highlighted that the current best estimate for the restoration of gas supply is by 1 July 2025. While full restoration of supply has yet to be achieved, Gas Malaysia has progressively resumed gas supply across all affected areas. Gas Malaysia sincerely appreciate the patience and understanding of our customers during this challenging time. We remain committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational integrity. The Group will continue to work closely with regulators, authorities and relevant stakeholders to provide the necessary support to its customers. The Company wishes to inform that the full impact of the incident can only be determined once the curtailment period has ended. In the meantime, the Company will continue to assess the situation and provide updates as more information becomes available. This announcement is dated 16 April 2025.
