我的水机的锁被破坏过，3~4次，机身没有问题。
水机会被破坏原因有

1。顾客给了钱没有水供应。

    哦，原来他们不守信用，不怪得做不起。
我也有物色几个地点。看到有些机外表已经生锈了也许是机会给我进入市场。因那里人口很多但只有一个水机而且生绣的。
另一个地点是工业区有很多外劳但有一架了。还需要调查一下。

SMART的水箱是100公升，如果要搬，可以在3~4天前把水喉关掉，不要再进水。之后就可以搬了。不会浪费水。

即使水机的水空了，也不会有人会偷，因为需要用到VAN车才可以搬运。
目前很少听说水机被偷，只听过钱被偷。水机被偷的机会几乎0%，因为相当的笨重。
如果他要用到ＶＡＮ车不如去偷提款机，里面钱更多。

１００公升的水。１.５公升的水卖２０仙，１００公升的水RM１５都不需要就可以放完了。
一架水机值市价５千以上，在保安装置又不强的情况下用RM１５把水放掉再用罗里来搬也值得。
提款机的保安之强，连出动到拖拉机来偷都无功而返，多多钱也没办法，两者不能混为一谈啊。
小锁头的功能只可以防君子而不能防小人，只能希望治安改善，窃案可以减少吧。

会偷或抢东西的人通常都是想要快点得到钱，然后可以用。这是他最主要的目的。
所以他不会花很大的力气去偷水机，因为水机偷来1不容易卖钱，2 又大又笨重，如果自己偷来方别的地方回收又慢。
所以偷水机的几率很小很小。

哈，也对。。。
虽然说一架水机平均一个月可以提供RM３００以上的被动收入，不过懂得这个道理又会想到用水机赚钱的人应该不至于会沦落到要偷东西过活吧。

其实现在网上有很多买卖网站，只要稍微留意一下，不乏一些年龄１到２年的二手smart水机，售价在RM５０００以下。卖家很显然是觉得这项生意赚不到钱或是他们不懂得怎样赚。利用你事先针对他那款水机做的资料收集包括新机市价等等，要把价钱再压得更低应该不难，因为那架水机对他来说已经没有太大的利用价值了。RM４０００应该可以成交吧。

基于SMART水机的保养容易，消耗的主要只是水pump（RM 120）还有滤心，即使买回来后直接换上全新的pump还有滤心也不到RM２００，所以不用担心会有象买到残了的二手车的问题。依LZ所说的，smart水机可以自己用van搬还有安装，所以你只要借到一辆van再加一个好帮手就行了，RM５０请朋友吃一餐值得啦。启用前再稍微粉刷一下就好象新的一样了。

机价RM４０００+搬迁翻新RM２５０=RM４２５０
新机RM６０００，省了大概３０％

最最重要的是水机不像车，没有注册没有所谓的二手三手或四手的差别，只有new或used。所以如果试过一段时间觉得自己不适合赚这个钱，只要机身照顾得好可以再以RM４０００左右花点时间等新买家再转让出去，心安理得，不太会亏钱。
同样情况，如果买新机的话就要准备小亏个一两千咯。。因为新的用过了就是旧的，而旧的用过依然还是旧的。当然，如果这第一架二手水机的成绩就很不错了，你也就可以没有太多顾虑的直接买新水机继续你的第二架第三架。。。投资了！

这是我个人给刚想投资水机又还不确定可不可行的朋友降低风险的小小愚见。如有错误的地方，还请各位多多见谅。

Dear Chui Yuan,

You are right, 1 tick of the meter is 10 sen, if the meter reads 12345, meaning the total collected is RM 1234.50, and the meters cannot be adjusted.
There are 8 filters in the machine, if you follow the schedule to change filters, the maintenance cost is 5% of the collection. The 8 filters are to be changed at different interval, if I illutrate in detail here, everybody will fell asleep.
Hei, you are right a again, we do use "Zipp" to wash our machines very month. after applying "Zipp", the machine will be "pak sweet sweet, wat luit luit"
However, the "boss you tolong kutip" method must be used carefully, actually not all shop owners are willing to do, and not all shop owners are trust worthy. Let me quote you some scary experiences when I first try out the method:
1. In Kedah we asked a shop owner to collect on behalf of us, we planned to collect from him everymonth. But always he liked to drag, at the end I had to move back the machine. Luckily no money lost.
Lesson I learned: the kedai runcit was quite small and the collection was RM 600 everymonth, so they used the money for rolling. Smaller mini market we should collect every week. Actually when I moved the machine they did not want to pay back the balance, so I told them, "kalau saya tak nampak duit itu hari ini saya akan suruh Ah xx daripada yy mari kutip." Sometimes you should quote some "famous person" name to get a job done.   
2. In Desa Mentari we also asked a shop to collect, but everytime we go collect from him he said, "semua duit kena curi malam malam", at the end I had to moved the machine also.
Lesson I learn: we should ask the neighbours how trust worthy the shop owner is, I suggest you find a shop owner with the same skin color as you, because more like they are more willing to tell the truth, if their answer is like this, "wah! itu orang ah, sudah banyak orang kena dia punya tangan loh" I suggest you find someone else.
To be successful in a business, you must learn how to "see" people. I also learn that from experience, go try lah, won't die one.

Dear Every Boss,
If you worry the whole machine got stolen, actually you can buy "all risk" insurance, it cost only 3% of the machine price.
In 2006 I was as worried so I bought the insurance, now I don't buy because:
1. Since 2006 I had never heard of any machine got stolen, so if my machines ever got stolen I will be in "Malaysia Book Of Record", the title="First machine ever got stolen in Malaysia, owner=Tommy Fu"
I think it is a bargain (Rm6k) to make your name a history...
2. I had seen a lot of machines got broke in and the door was wide open (maybe the owner don't know), the spare parts inside were all intact because the thief was interested in the money only. (Mike also saw on like that in 2009, I was there also) The spare parts actually could be stolen easily but nobody wanted them, not to mention the whole machine.

The insurance I bought were from AIG and Sumitomo.

    将心比心，如果我也是有在做水机的被动收入，可是我又不想出钱。加上马来西亚的治安，再加上只是一些烂锁头。找个物色的点，将水机偷掉，几个月后，又将在其他地方偷来的水机放在同样的地点。这样那位人兄就不比出钱又可以找到好的的点来跑他的水机被动收入。你说这样对他是不是一箭双雕呢？

Some rusty machines also have loyal customers, don't you ever heard the song "war hen chou ke si war hen wen rou"?
Last week I saw a real example: When in Alor Star I came across a very old, very rusty, 8 years old machine, but it is still running. The shop owner said, "ini mesin itu uncle banyak rajin jaga punya, tiap-tiap minggu dia mari tukar filter, kadang-kadang filter itu kuning, tak merah pun dia tukar, ramai orang mari ini mesin beli, you tengok sebelah ada mesin baru orang pun tak pergi ambil"
I stayed there chit-chat-chit-chat for 10 minutes and 2 cars came with big containers, guess which machine they bought from? The old one.
If you service your machine well competitors are very difficult to eat into your share.
The shop owner is your "spoke person", when you change filters let them know, they will tell the world one.
