Ramkarpal said that this was in "complete disregard of the principle of separation of powers".
"It is a basic hallmark of any democracy that the executive does not interfere in the affairs of the judiciary," he said.
Ramkarpal clarified that there is nothing wrong with criticising the appointment of the Chief Justice and Court of Appeal president.
"However, it is quite another matter to summon them and demand their resignations. This is plainly wrong," he said.
"The CEP has clearly overstepped its boundaries in this case, which cannot be condoned," said Ramkarpal.

首席大法官是 Agong 委任的，卻可以被馬哈迪的不倫不類耄老理事會叫下台，權力凌駕在 Agong 之上。
馬哈迪不但不中和一下，反而發表耄老理事會有很大權力，要見誰就見誰，包括會見 Agong 委任的首席大法官，叫對方辭職。

這個長老會真的應該解散了
沒有制衡機制，沒有民意代表，權力又那麽大，膽子大到嘗試違憲行爲，破壞三權分立

看到他發言的新聞，我也驚喜下，怎知法官今天辭職。
NGO 可以召喚護肩和叫法官辭職。
如果是納吉這樣做，希盟粉去簽 petition 了。
