Yup, I did ovarian drilling & hysteroscopy.
As per Dr Wong, my ovary has harden up and it wouldn’t function properly as normal woman. Hence, my period is always inaccurate and the ovum can’t mature well. The drilling is soften your ovaries, and miraculously, it helps your menstrual cycle and form good ovum for conception.
For laparascopy, he did that procedure for me too. That’s just in case if there is any blockage in my fallopian tiub, which I did not have, cos the blockage couldn’t be determine thru screening.
I have polyps, which he removed with hysteroscopy as well.
After the surgery, Dr Wong also provided me with the surgery video. You can be rest assured that his skill is very good. After the surgery, I only have very slight pain for the 1st day. On the 3rd day, I even went yum cha with my frens. He gave me 1 week to rest which made me feel redundant.
My hubby was very skeptical at first for me to go under the knives, but I conceived 2 months after the surgery and our bundle of joy will be arriving in these 2-3 weeks, so he is a very happy man now.
I have a few frens that have seen/seeing Dr Wong, all have very good news after. Don’t worry, trust his skills and professional opinion.

Very thanks for your sharing.
My appointment are on 10 July.My husband was not allow me to perform drilling as he said might will cause permanent damage.
Last time i did my laparascopy at Penang but the Dr only help to open 2 hole which totally no help me check at all.
Therefore now im proceed for Dr Wong PS after heard his review is very good & has ethic.

May I know how many drilling that you had done under Dr Wong PS?
He has propose me to perform 16 drilling(nor,mal is 8-15 holes). In fact, my hormon test do not show im PCO patient as my Testosterone is not high(in the normal range). However my vaginal scan result show there are around 5-6 small ovum in ovary.

How did you take care of yourself(food) after the procedure?
Many thanks for your fast feedback as i really need your input as i make a decision after 1st seek Dr Wong.

我也是有PCOS的，方博士讲我是非典型，就是月经不会很乱，体型不会变胖那种，但LH差，体温也是起起伏伏的。我调理过后怀孕的，他应该可以帮到你。

Yes, I understand how your husband’s feel. I was also skeptical at the first place on why does my ovaries needs drilling and how would it soften the ovaries and allow it to function normally. Since I’m not a medical person myself, I better trust his professional opinion.
My laparoscopic surgery actually has 3 holes. 2 holes are for the surgical forceps or knives, 1 is for the camera to help the dr see and work on your intestines better. You can ask Dr to show you videos to allow you to understand better.
For the ovarian drilling, he drilled around 8-10 holes on each ovaries. I still remembers he said underdrilling-your ovaries is not soft enough to do its work, overdrilling-too soft and it not good for your health… somewhere along the line. If I didn’t remember wrongly, I had a slight high LH level and had about 7-8 small ovum in the ovaries, but it doesn’t really mature well.
After surgery, dr didn’t advise change your eating habit, but being Chinese ourselves, my mom made me to avoid seafood, heaty and ‘poisonese’ food for 1 month. I believed I recovered fast after the surgery. Actually, it’s not a big surgery… if you have medical card, everything will be covered.

Hi sysyf,

I was also undergo treatment at Dr Terrence Hng for 9 months. But after 9 months still unsuccess. And now go for scanning found have PCO(5-6 cyst in ovarian) & suspected 1 of tiub also blocked. That's why Dr Terrence Hng suggest me should go to see Dr Wong PS.
Actually Im very thin (~48kg with height 165cm), i also do not have PCO synptom such as obesity, oily face , hair growth on hair & leg.
So I was confuse as well when Dr said Im PCO after scanning.

Anyway, congraz that you get pregnant

谢谢，输卵管一边不通还是有机会自然怀孕吧？找多一个医生问看比较好，我也是没有那些症状的。

我打算吃3个月中药再去做检验。

我在服用中药期间是没有看中医的，就在几个月后就怀孕了。
