（吉隆坡2日讯）佳利安（KARYON，0054，主板工业产品股）建议以每4股送1股的比例，派送9514万2651股红股给股东。

根据文告，佳利安将从股票溢价户头，取出约951万4265令吉，支付红股计划所需。

公司希望通过红股计划，回馈股东支持，增加所持股票。

同时，公司有意借此扩大股本，反映目前营运和资产规模。

截至9月25日，公司缴足资本为3805万7061令吉，每股面值10仙。

佳利安839万柔买工厂

（吉隆坡19日讯）佳利安（KARYON，0054，主板工业产品股）子公司Hsing Lung私人有限公司（简称HLSB），以838万8000令吉购地及厂房。

根据文告，HLSB是在昨日与Bo Asli企业私人有限公司签署买卖协议，买进位于新山避兰东（Plentong）的地皮及厂房。

该产业的市值达730万令吉，公司购入的价位为溢价109万令吉。

不过，董事部认为，溢价是合理的，因预计每年可省下19万8000令吉的租金成本，而且该房产地理位置优越，毗邻目前的总部兼工厂。

佳利安将通过内部筹资239万令吉，和向银行贷款600万令吉，来完成收购。【南洋网财经】

（吉隆坡1日讯）佳利安（KARYON，0054，主板工业产品股）宣布，旗下非核心子公司KARYON（大马）私人有限公司将停止运作。

佳利安通过文告表示，KARYON（大马）仅占总资产的11%，而且2014财年开始蒙亏。

为了避免亏损扩大，董事部决定暂停营运KARYON（大马），3月31日起生效。

佳利安被追收106万销售税

（吉隆坡14日讯）佳利安工业（KARYON，0054，主板工业股）宣佈旗下Allbright Industries私人有限公司（AISB），收到大马皇家关税局的信函通知，向它追討额外106万令吉的销售税，另外再向它作出53万1732令吉的罚款。

该公司的文告指出，由於在產品归类税上有误，因此被追討额外税款，及面对罚款。该公司也表示，会对此进行上诉。

不过，佳利安工业指出，有关事件预计不会对它带来影响，最坏的情况，也只是缴付总额160万令吉的税款及罚款。【东方网财经】

The Board of Directors of KIB wishes to announce that Allbright Industries (M) Sdn Bhd (“AISB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of KIB, had on 13 April 2016, received a letter dated 12 April 2016 from Jabatan Kastam Diraja Malaysia for the payment of sales tax amounting to RM1,063,464.98 together with penalty of RM531,732.49 due to different classification of product tariff code (“Letter”). Notwithstanding the above, AISB will make an appeal to the relevant authority in respect of the Letter. The payment and penalty are not expected to have any material operational impact on KIB and its subsidiaries (“Group”). In the event that the outcome from the appeal is unfavourable, the expected loss to the Group would be up to RM1,595,197.47. Working experience and occupation	Dr Chua began his career in 1973 with the University of Malaya as a lecturer in the Chemistry Department. In 1976, he moved to UIC-Marchon (Pte) Ltd, a joint venture company between UIC of Singapore and Marchon of UK, manufacturing mainly anionic surfactants in Singapore. He was appointed as Senior Chemist in charge of quality control and product development of toiletry and detergent. He served the Company for five (5) years and resigned in 1981 before joining Chong Shing Cable Sdn Bhd as a General Manager. He also assisted Universal Cable Bhd, a holding company of Chong Shing Cable Sdn Bhd to set up a Polyvinyl Chloride compounding plant before he resigned in 1986 and founded the three wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Company subsequently. Dr Chua is also the Director of Karyon (Jinhua) Advanced Materials Co., Ltd, a joint venture Company between Karyon Ventures Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Karyon Industries Berhad (KIB) and Southern Aluminium Product Co., Ltd in the People's Republic of China. Overall, he has more than forty five (45) years of experience in the field of chemistry.
Family relationship with any director and/or major shareholder of the listed issuer	Dr Chua Kee Lam is the spouse of Madam Teoh Kooi Kim, who is a substantial shareholder of KIB. Dr Chua Kee Lam is the father of Mr Chua Ling Hong ("CLH") and Ms Chua Ling Lee ("CLL"), who are the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of KIB respectively and also the father in law of Mr Yeoh Eng How ("YEH"), who is an Alternate Director to Dr Chua. CLH, CLL and YEH are also substantial shareholders of KIB.
