养不教 父之过 feeding but no education, it is father’s wrong
教不严 师之惰 education but no strict demands, the teacher is so lazy
子不学 非所宜 children have no good-good study, it is not proper
幼不学 老何为 if no good-good study in their childhood, what can do when older
玉不琢 不成器 The finest diamond must be cut
人不学 不知义 people afraid to learn, it don’t know proprieties
为人子 方少时 as a son or daughter, in their childhood
