Our Honeymoon in Maldives 爱在阳光灿烂的天堂 。马尔代夫 - Part I, Departure and Arrival at Malé 第一章，我们起飞到马累（原文和 full version 照片请按此连接）


We departed to Maldives two days after our wedding, that marked the start of our honeymoon.
婚礼后的两天，我们就出发到马尔代夫，开始了我们的蜜月旅行。

From Ipoh we took YoYo bus to KLIA, the most convenient way.
乘搭YoYo巴到KLIA，是从怡保到吉隆坡国际机场最直接与方便的方法。

Three hour of bus ride definitely made me sleepy...
三个小时的车程，开始觉得累了。。。

But still we're able to camwhore..
但是还可以搞笑自拍。。



Baby was still very wide awake, he's gonna be my personal photographer throughout the trip.
老公显然还很精神，我的御用摄影师也。

Something funny was...WE'RE THE ONLY TWO MALAYSIANS IN THE FLIGHT!! I'm not kidding.. 70% Korean s + 10% Chinese + 20% Caucasians, and only 2 Malaysians... Why is Maldives that not popular among us Malaysians? Almost everyone was there for transit.
惊觉机舱里只有我们两个马来西亚人！！真的。。70%韩国人+10%中国人+20%鬼佬，就只有我们俩本地人。。。马尔地夫对我们本地人来讲真的那么冷门吗？几乎全都是来吉隆坡转机的。



The landing card for Maldives. We realized many Koreans had problem filling up the landing card and were busy translating through the electronic dictionary.
马尔地夫登陆卡。发觉身边很多韩国人都不会填写，一直在按电子词典做翻译。





Our flight was full flight, and due to the passengers who did transit at KL had priority to choose the seats, we had no choice but to sit separately. Actually the whole flight was all couples, thus half of the people sat separately like us.
由于班机一早就已爆满（转机有优先权），我们只好分开坐。其实整班机都是情侣和夫妻，所以一半的人都分开坐。

Dinner, generous portion... which I usually couldn't finish. Perhaps I've had enough of in-flight meals.
晚餐，算蛮丰富的吧。。总是没法吃完。可能吃飞机餐吃腻了。

4个小时10分钟，终于到达马累。马尔地夫我们到了也！

Just like Penang International Airport 20 years ago.
好像20年前的槟城国际机场。



A very simple airport, but so many visitors!
很简陋，但是却那么旺！



Our plan was to overnight at Malé instead of going to the resort right away since it's late. Maldives has 1,190 coral islands formed around 26 natural ring-like atolls, spread over 90,000 square kilometers. And our resort is at Meemu Atoll, which is located 145 km from Malé, and it takes 45 minutes by seaplane to reach there. Seaplane only operates during day hours, so it is impossible for us to go there at 10pm.
我们的原本计划是在马累过一夜，不是要马上到度假村。马尔代夫有1190珊瑚岛屿，由26个自然环礁组成，分布在9万平方公里。我们的度假酒店位于Meemu环礁，离开马累145公里，，需要乘搭水上飞机45分钟才可到达那里。水上飞机只有在白天才操作，所以晚上10点要飞是不可能的。



So we took a ferry from Hulhule Island (the airport) to Malé.
所以我们从机场岛（Hulhule Island）搭渡轮到马累。

Late at night we could already sense the clarity of Maldives sea water. I bet it will be even more magical in the morning.
纵然天黑，我们已可以感受到马尔代夫的海水的清晰度。早上一定更加神幻吧。



Helo Malé!! Here we arrived at the jetty. There is no proper docks like the jetty we used to see, just jump off the ferry when you arrive. This looks to me more like a breakwater.
马累我来咯！这码头并不像我们见惯了的码头，到岸只需跳下渡轮而已。我这看起来更像是一个防波堤。




Finally checked-in to our hotel -- Kaani Lodge. We did not choose any particular hotels as long as it's convenient and clean. Our Maldivian friends recommended this place as well, they said it's cost effective.
终于到达我们在马累的酒店登记入住。因为只需睡那么几个小时，所以并没怎么执著选择。我们的马尔代夫朋友都说这里算不错，价格也公道。



The hotel has no lift nor escalator, but the hotel staff will help you to bring your luggage to your room, so the service is considered very good. More over our room was on the 4th floor! ! If we were to carry our own luggage, I really cannot imagine. .
虽然没电梯也没扶梯，但是酒店员工会帮你把行李送到你的房间，所以真的很不错。我们的房间在4楼也！！如果真的要自己把行李抬上去，不敢想象。。



After settled down, our friends took us to a nearby restaurant for dinner. You hear me right! 12am and eating dinner. So we found out from our friends that the locals only eat dinner before they go to bed. They have tea around 7pm/8pm. We went to Food Bank.
安顿后，朋友就带我们到附近的餐厅吃晚餐。对！是12点吃晚餐。当地人都在睡觉前才吃晚餐的，很夜对吧。而7点8点的那顿只是算茶点而已。我们在Food Bank用餐。

Get an idea of how 'cheap' the food is. 15 Maldivian Rufiyaa is equivalent to 1 USD.
感受一下马尔地夫马累当地的食物价格到底‘便宜’到哪里。兑换率是15 Maldivian Rufiyaa 换 1 USD。





Something similar to what we have in Malaysia. So eating here is not a problem.
类似我们平时在马来西亚吃的食物。所以在马尔地夫食物不是问题。

Some local snacks that the Maldivian take after meal. Looks like our Sirih.
一些当地的饭后小吃。看来蛮像我们的Sirih。



A happy dinner with friends...
与朋友愉快的晚餐。。。

Tomorrow we're going to have a fantastic journey flying to our resort! Couldn't wait...
明天将会有个奇妙的飞行旅程！很期待。。。

应该有机会的。我去的时候大概二月/三月。其实夜间真的很冷，记得带厚一点的冷衣。别看我们都只穿短裤短袖，其实冷的半条命。。。沙坝比河内温度低，因为是高原。
白天也随时会有雾飘来的。。记得准备冷衣，
