来看Harrisons的老板为甚么搞私有化
每股有cash RM1.20
以块四多私有化半年EPS RM0.22的Harrisons
几个月就回本了!!

Harrisons 低债又有大量现金如果出价少过RM2.00都是不合理的!! |

请问大大，namfatt 4901是不是也和HARRISONS HOLDINGS BERHAD有一样的情况（undervalue).我发现他的nta也是大于股价.
是不是也有被私有化的可能性？. |

私有化的可能性不是没有， 但是很低！

Harrisons Holdings Bhd
Harrisons is, essentially , a trading house. Its product portfolio includes building materials, chemicals and liquor. The company, which also offers shipping services, has been profitable since its listing Oct 1999.
What’s Up? … dated Aug 2008
The proposed privatization of Harrisons Holdings Bhd by its single largest shareholder has run into problems. A significant minority shareholder, SC Fund Management LLC, which is based in NY, has accumulated 8.41%, and is seeking a higher price for the takeover offer.
This means Bumi Raya Intl Holding Co Ltd and frienfly parties which collectively own 42.54% of Harrisons will most likely be unable to take the company off Bursa Malaysia without SC Fund Management’s go ahead. Based on regulations, the acquiring party has to secure at least 90% of the remaining shares it does not own in a company it plans to take private for it get delisted.
In July 2008, Bumi Raya launched an all cash takeover offer for the remaining 36.26 million shares or 57.46%, in Harrisons for RM1.20 apiece. As SC Fund Management’s 8.41% stake, comprising 14.6% of the remaining shares, the foreign shareholder is deemed to have the bargaining power to scuttle Bumi Raya’s plans and demand a better price.
At Rm1.20 a share, Bumi Raya will have to fork out RM43.51 million to acquire the remaining shares.
Bumi Raya does not in tend to maintain Harrisons’ listing on Bursa Malaysia .
SC Fund Management has its own set of views. It argues that, among others, the average closing price of Harrisons ’ shares since the beginning of the year (2008) until July 16, 2008 stood at RM1.31 which is higher than Bumi Raya’s offer price.
The offer price translates to 39% of the company’s book value as at March 31, 2008 and a PER of less than four times historical earnings.
Furthermore, the offer barely exceeds Harrisons ’ most recently reported cash position of RM68 million. Implicitly, Bumi Raya is offering to pay approximately RM7.4 million, or less than 12 sen per share for Harrisons ’ non cash assets of RM127.8 million, or Rm2.02 per share.
Net profit FY2007 ended Dec 31 rose 37% to RM18.06 million while revenue climbed to RM946 million.
1QFY2008 saw its net profit surge to RM6.4 million. Revenue advanced to RM272 million. |
