It is better than yours.
It is more better than yours . (redundancy - double comparative)

When a word has 3 or more syllables, it is preceded by more/less.For instance, more beautiful,more elegant.
When a word has 1 or 2 syllables, you have to add -er / -ier . For example, cleverer, easier, simpler.

我觉的 much better 是对的。much more better 是错的。

我认为 less happier 是对的。 i am unhappy. / I am not as happy as before./ i am less happy now./ i am less happier than him.

我觉的当你用到' than' 的时候就要讲 less happier, 不然就应该只用 less happy

relative pronouns = who, whom, which, that,whose

direct speech =“ She is a good girl", Ali said.

indirect speech = Ali said she is a good girl.

Happy = Hap - py (2 syllables thus we add -ier)

I am happier than you. (Not I'm more happier than you.)
I am the happiest man in the Earth. (superlative - add iest)

I am more happier - wrong because more happier = double comparative.


Positive Comparative Superlative
good        better               Best

We use positive when there is one person.
I am good.

We use comparative when comparing 2 persons.
I am better than he (is).

We use superlative when there are 3 or more people.
I am the best player in my team.

When a word has 1 or 2 syllables:
(1)+ er or +ier  (apply to words ending with y ,eg happy - happier) for comparative.
For example, simple (sim - ple - 2 syllables), he is simpler than I (am).
(2)+est or +iest (to words ending with y) for superlative.
He is so far the cleanest man.

When a word has 3 or more syllables (ie, beau - ti - ful) , we use more / less for comparative and most/least for superlative.
eg, He speaks the most beautiful language.

Incidentally, there are some exceptions.

Positive Comparative Superlative
good        better             best
bad          worse             worst

perhaps u could spend ur spare time reading more novels/online journals/newspaper articles etc!! write down those new words that u've come across n look for the meaning of each word from any online dictionary website . later on u could possibly use those words again.

I am already is a university student, but my english still very lausy
I had tried to read english newspaper and listen to fm, however, i still have not see any improvement on my english, sad..

Well, every time i read newspaper, i am just do a simple skimming and get the main idea of the news. That is why i still fail my grammar and sentence structure
I really can not sit down quitely and read newspaper or listen music. I sure no patient to read slowly..
My vocabulary still fine, but i have a terrible problem on my grammar and sentence structure, how do I improve it?
