Question Tags （isn't,aren't,doesn't,don't)

1.We use negative question tags with positive statements
e.g. This computer is expensive,isn't it.
     These computers are expensive,aren't they.

The verb "to do"must agree with the main verb.
e.g.Dad walks fast,doesn't he?
    Ants love sugar,don't they?

2.we use short forms in question tags.
e.g. Your brothers play chess,don't they?

3.We use pronouns,not nouns or noun phrases in question tags.
e.g.The musicians are good,aren't they?

note:a statement can be turned into a question by adding a question tag at the end of it
e.g. The book is yours(statement)+isn't it?(question tag)
     I am very untidy,aren't I?

Modals (can,may,must,shall,will and ought)之前有提到过，可参考。

。can and may are used to ask for permission and give permission.May is usually considered more formal and polite than can.
e.g.Can/may I use your pen, please?
    The class is over and you may/can go home.

.can and may are also used to express the possibility of an action or event.May is usually used to refer to a less likely possibility than can.
e.g.We can go for a holiday later this year.(definite possibility)
    We may go for a holiday later this year.(slight possibility)

May is also used to suggest that the speaker or writer is not very certain about something.
e.g.I may have the spare keys to the car in my bag.

Can is used to refer to the ability to do something.
e.g.Can he cook?

依我的拙见，我觉得是因为depend是verb，不被接受
is已经是一个动词了，一个句子不能有2个动词
dependent是形容词，他依然依赖。。。。。。

All of the furniture__is__ expensive 因为furniture是uncountable noun就像rice, but 2 sets of the furniture 有两个所以我们用are.

还是要用a 因为它的发音不是o 如hour,honest,ox才是o的发音。此外，uniform,university都是you的发音所以用a.

你说的对。就像我们讲You are clever.所以he is dependent.若俩者都是verb就要用gerund.

I has mistaken the question 6, I pick dependence(n).
so, now I understood it is (adj).
