4. 他出门都自己开车,没请司机也没有保全人员。
5. 虽然身为世界最大的私人喷射客机公司老板,他从来都没有搭乘私人飞机。
6. 他的公司 Berkshire Hathaway 旗下拥有63家企业,他每年只写一封信给这些企业的总裁,把当年的营运目标告诉他们。他从来不会定期主持或召开会议,而只是给予所有旗下企业的总裁们两个守则:
第一、别让公司的投资人亏钱;

8. 五年前,世界首富比尔盖兹第一次跟巴菲特见面时,他原本觉得自己跟对方根本没有什么共同点,所以只安排了半个小时与巴菲特会谈。他们见面之后,两人却谈了10个小时。之后,比巴菲特成了比尔盖兹的学习榜样,献身慈善事业。

There was a one-hour interview on CNBC with Warren Buffet, the 2nd richest man who has donated $31billion to charity. Here are some very interesting aspects of his life:
1. He bought his first share when he was 11 and however regrets that he started too late!
2. He bought a small farm at the age of 14, with his savings from delivering newspapers.
3. He still lives in the same small 3-bedroom house in mid-town Omaha, that he bought after he got married 50 years ago. He says he has everything he need in that house (a house that doesn't even have a fence).
4. He drives his own car everywhere and does not have a driver or security people around him.
5. He never travel on private jet, even he owns the world largest private jet company.
6. His company, Berkshire Hathaway, owns 63 companies. He writes only one letter each year to the CEOs of theese companies, giving them the goals for the year. He never holds meeting or call them on a regular basis, all he give to his CEOs is 2 rules:
(ONE) do not lose any of your shareholders' money;
(TWO) do not forget rule number one.
7. He does not socialise with the high society crowd. His past time after he gets home is to make himself some popcorn and watch television.
8. Bill Gates, the world richest man, met him for the first time 5 years ago. During then, Bill thinks he and Warren has nothing in common and so he only schedule a half-an-hour meeting with Warren. However the meeting lasted for 10 hours after they met and Bill even become a devotee of Warren since then.
9. Warren Buffet does not carry a cellphone, nor has a computer on his desk.
10. His advice to young people: stay away from credit cards and invest in yourself.
11. He advices too:
(a) Money does not create man, rather it is man who created money.
(b) Live your live as simple as you are.
(c) Do not do what others say, just listen but do what you feel right.
(d) Do not go on brand name, just wear those things that you feel comfortable.
(e) Do not waste your money on unnecessary things, spend only on those that really in need.
(f) Afterall, it is your life, why giving the chance for others to rule (and ruin) it?
