In January 2023, the New York Gaming Facility Board (“NYGFB”) had issued a Request for Application (“RFA”) to solicit proposals for up to three commercial casinos in downstate New York, where Resorts World New York City (“RWNYC”) is located.
The GENM Board of Directors wishes to announce that GENM, via its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Genting New York LLC (“GENNY”) had submitted a bid for a commercial casino license (“Bid”) to the New York State Gaming Commission on 27 June 2025 (US Eastern date/time) in response to the RFA.
GENNY owns and operates RWNYC, a gaming destination at the historic Aqueduct Racetrack, currently offering approximately 5,500 slot machines and electronic table games, restaurants and bars, event spaces and a 400-room Hyatt hotel. Having operated in the New York State for nearly 15 years since October 2011, RWNYC is uniquely positioned to transform itself into a world-class integrated resort destination with a proposed multi-billion-dollar investment in conjunction with its Bid. This will drive RWNYC’s next chapter of growth, enabling it to further expand its customer base and market reach.
The NYGFB is expected to make a decision by 1 December 2025, followed by the issuance of licenses by 31 December 2025. GENM will make appropriate announcements once there are further material developments in relation to its Bid.

This announcement is dated 30 June 2025.
