坦白说会说这种话的人要么他们的常识有限，要么他们从来没认真地去了解大马。哪会有人为了区区数十万而放弃了数百万的奖金呢？

我国的那些知名羽球员就是在夺下汤杯后 不知道control就胡乱把自己的信誉当名信片般派 就酱闹出酱的结果 以后的 可要借镜！

Badminton: Only the best for Olympics

KUALA LUMPUR: National shuttlers without outstanding results over the next few months will face the axe. And chief coach Yap Kim Hock has made it clear that it is not just mere talk this time.

Yesterday, the joint Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) and the National Sports Council (NSC) working committee gave the green light to his proposal to form a smaller national squad.

Kim Hock said that he made the suggestion for the coaches to concentrate on a smaller but better quality team for the Olympics next year.

“This means that there will be an immediate review of the players in all departments of the national set-up. I will work closely with the coaches in the next one month to identify the players and to draw up new programmes for the Beijing Games,” he said.

“We will monitor the performance of the players over the next few months and they will have to go if they do not show any good results.”

Kim Hock's proposal came in the wake of a disappointing performance in the recent World Championships in Bukit Jalil. High hopes were placed on Lee Chong Wei and the top men's pair Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong but a world title remained elusive.

Expectations are even higher for the Olympics and Kim Hock is taking drastic measures to zoom in their focus.

“What is the point of giving attention to a big number of players when only a few have the potential to go far? It is better to have a small group of quality players. The coaches can give better focus on their preparation for the Olympics,” he said.

“For now, there is no plans to promote any new player to the elite squad.”

The squad now have the most number of men's doubles players. Besides Kien Keat-Boon Heong, the others pairs in the team are Choong Tan Fook-Lee Wan Wah, Mohd Fairuzizuan Mohd Tazari-Mohd Zakry Abdul Latif, Tan Bin Shen-Ong Soon Hock, Chan Chong Ming-Hoon Thien How and Gan Teik Chai-Lin Woon Fui.

Together with Chong Wei in the men's singles department are Mohd Hafiz Hashim, , Wong Choong Hann, Kuan Beng Hong ,Yeoh Kay Bin and K. Yogendran .

The women's department has only one singles player in Wong Mew Choo and three doubles pairs – Chin Eei Hui-Wong Pei Tty, Fong Chew Yen-Mooi Hing Yau, Ooi Yu Hang-Ooi Sock Ai. The only mixed doubles pair in the squad are Tan Wee Kiong-Woon Khe Wei .

因为在大马羽总心里，上述这几个就已经是翻遍全国都找不到的最佳人选了。

刚才那篇新闻就是把PJK关列为进军北京奥运的人选才令人受不了。
不过也难怪啦，我们BAM里面来来去去就只有这么几个人，算是“蜀中无大将，寥化当先锋”吧。

看到这篇报导,我都无言以对..
叶先生,你几时才肯把国家队的那几位没有作为的男单球员赶出国家队呢?几时才肯调陈俊翔,Arif和曾光明上国家队呢?
国家队男单现在已经青黄不接啦..

我相信陈俊翔,Arif和曾光明都可以打败约大哥和关明鸿的吧..
叶先生这样的做法给人的感觉像是否定了陈俊翔进军奥运会的机会...:@

男双的整体成绩比男单好很多
男单的，真的需要重组

还有的就是，女单和女双；
好像不够人；
为什么不从后备队升几位上去？

就是咯，大将其实是有的，只是主帅不肯让他们上位而已。
偏偏就喜欢留住那几位毫无上进心的球员浪费国家队的位子。:@
搞到我们国家队好象人才凋零这样凄凉。
会不会是老叶根本没有权力决定呢？

据说谢丽雅,黄佩娴和Anita Kaur已经正式被调上国家队了的...
但是,女双方面真的没有人选..目前拿的出手的女双只有黄佩蒂/陈仪慧和方秋燕/梅馨友..谢顺吉之前都一直要求从后备队调部分的女双上来国家队了..但是,后备队目前也没有多少的出色女双可以调上国家队..

不过,我感到欣慰的是,陈俊翔和曾光明虽然是后备队的,
但是,他们目前是在misbun旗下练球..陪练的搭挡是李宗伟,Hafiz和关明鸿等人..这也造成他们在今年的成绩都很大的提升的原因..
